Acting like the cold war was still happening and that they were the elite secret police of the Politburo. No, it was the way my traveling companion/girlfriend was treated; with disdain, belligerence, rudeness and condescension. Wow! Fulbright scholar, PhD. Assistant professor, lecturer and guest speaker to the U.S. State Department, traveling all over the world working on behalf of American pride and… Oh well, you get the point.
