Thomas Paine was the most popular and inspirational writer of the American Revolution. “The cause of America,” Paine wrote in Common Sense (1776), “is in a great measure the cause of all mankind.”

“A faction, acting in disguise, was rising in America; they had lost sight of first principles,” Paine wrote.  “They were beginning to contemplate government as a profitable monopoly, and the people as hereditary property.”

Two hundred years later, as an American student of history, I made the same observation:  A faction, acting in disguise, was rising in America.  This faction also viewed government as a profitable monopoly, which they sought to control.  The rising faction I noticed taking control in the 1980s was primarily Jewish by ethnicity and Zionist by ideology.

September 26, 2008 Framing the Issues During this, the season of the seventh anniversary of 911, we must continue to increase the effectiveness of our transnational peace lobby aimed at extending the Nuremberg process towards an international investigation into the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the name of the War on Terror. Such an investigation must begin by asking some foundational questions about the underlying crime that gave rise to the War on Terror. Were the events of 911 orchestrated by a very different cast of characters and for very different motives than those identified in the trial by media that began with unseemly haste on the very day of the Great Shock?1 Is the War on Terror a War on Truth? Did the official conspiracy theory originate in a web of lies, distortions and cover-ups expressed to this day in the dense shroud of public mythology surrounding the events of 911?

The details of the controversial program were discussed in multiple meetings inside the White House over a two-year period, triggering concerns among several officials who worried that the agency’s methods might be illegal or violate anti-torture treaties, according to separate statements signed by Rice and her top legal adviser.

September 25, 2008 Over the past 60 years or so the situation in Palestine has reached astronomical dimensions that stretch far beyond what could have been expected. In the midst of it all, Palestinians past and present have watched their young killed, jailed or exiled, their homes blown up, their fields ravished and their olive trees uprooted, their freedoms ripped away from them and their country depleted by the day. All of this was done to them by Israel and its supporters in the name of freedom, godly wish and imperialism.

September 26, 2008 In March of this year, the Dutch parliamentarian, Geert Wilders, announced that he was about to release a documentary about the evils of Islam. Before it came out, Wilders portrayed himself as a beacon of freedom of speech and said that the documentary would include many eye-opening items. His pre-publicity was far more striking than the film. Instead of including fresh information with research, he just copied and pasted existing film and came out with some dubious subtitles that were far out of context.
