ZIONIST ISRAEL’S CRIMES ARE NOT NEW

[By Dr. Mohamed Elmasry] – Dec 30, 2008

The inflicting of war-crime acts and crimes against humanity is not new to the history of Zionist Israel.

Zionism — for those still confused by the relentless media “spin” deliberately clouding the issue — is a neo-fascist ideology based on giving a “birthright” guarantee to Jews anywhere on the planet to settle in Palestine.

Zionists have resorted to any means available to implement this discriminatory and openly racist ideology – including mass killing, terrorism, forced displacement, destruction of property and ethnic cleansing – in their policy of oppressing native Palestinians in every aspect of their day-to-day struggle for survival. Israel’s recent heavy aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza strip is only the latest act designed to accomplish an evil policy designed to inflict death, destruction and misery on the entire population.

The world must be reminded yet again that the artificially created Zionist state of Israel has no constitution. This was not a historical oversight by any means; having a constitution would require the country to define its borders and to state categorically who meets the criteria of citizenship. Thus it has proven convenient for Israel to “postpone” the issue of constitutional legitimacy while its government continually pushes to expand the border regions in order to accommodate more and more illegal Jewish settlements.

The Gaza strip is a small ribbon of land some 40 kms in length and ranging in width between 6 and 12 km. Crammed into this tiny area are 1.5 million native Palestinians living in deplorable conditions; many contemporary historians have aptly compared Gaza to the cramped and destitute Warsaw Ghetto of World War II.

Zionist Israel has demonstrated no inclination whatsoever to give these people their liberty. Instead it chooses to treat Gaza as a mass concentration camp. The IDF occupational ground forces may have been gone since 2005, but Zionist Israel still controls all of Gaza’s ports, border-crossing points, and its sky. And as if economic and humanitarian strangulation were not enough, it has launched the most violent military siege in recent decades; if it continues against a virtually weaponless population, the result can only be a genocidal death toll.

Gaza has, in fact, been reduced to a new Auschwitz: the only difference – a nightmarish irony — is that Jews are now playing the role of Hitler’s ruthless SS.

It is fully expected by international observers that the rising death toll in Gaza will soon top 500 and that thousands more will be wounded; many more will die because basic medical facilities will not be available to treat them in time. Any way one looks at it, this entire Israeli campaign is a horrific war crime and an unjustifiable crime against humanity. Far from seeking out and damaging so-called Hamas operational centres, the bombing attacks have targeted elementary schools, market-places, drug stores, administrative buildings, colleges, private homes, mosques, cultural institutions, roads, businesses, basic infrastructure, etc.

Anyone who knows even a little of the ugly history of Zionism in Palestine since the 1920s is shocked at how easily and conveniently the West has tolerated this planned genocide of Palestinians for so long. Instead, the world’s attention focused on supporting and celebrating Zionist calls for Jews to “return home,” which they did – individually and in groups, by boat, air and road.

The “repatriated” masses soon joined the Zionist military and were thoroughly indoctrinated to hate the native Palestinians, as well as all other Arabs and Muslims worldwide, in that order. They created armed settlements, terrorizing the natives, displacing their families and killing whoever resisted eviction, including women and children.

The bloody history of Zionist Jews in Palestine is a shameful mistake and hiding its facts away from generations of Westerners is the ugliest disinformation campaign ever waged in human history. Never were so many crimes against humanity covered so thoroughly and for so long.

International law gives native Palestinians the right to resist the 41-year occupation, but Israeli Zionist lobbyist propaganda publicly blames the victims at every turn and Israel’s government continues to ignore and even dismiss all legal claims and UN resolutions against it.

Zionist Israel and the Israeli Zionist lobbyists in the West have claimed continuously that the current genocidal onslaught in Gaza is “only a war against Hamas” and that it was caused only “by the firing of Palestinian rockets on Israel.” This is just one more lie to add to the long list of distortions and misinformation being promulgated about native Palestinians.

Hamas has repeatedly stated that it is ready and willing to stop all firing of home-made rockets – its only effective form of as a form of resistance — if Zionist Israel would lift the deadly blockade that is starving and killing the Palestinian people. Zionist Israel has repeatedly said “No.”

Even during a six-month ceasefire, which Hamas observed, Zionist Israel killed 49 Palestinians. Not a single Israeli was killed.

Amira Hass of the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz wrote; “Israel’s (current) war is not against Hamas, it’s against all the Palestinians.”

As part of its Nazi-like blockade of Gaza, Zionist Israel has turned away boat after boat carrying humanitarian aid in the form of food, medicines and other basic supplies desperately needed by the women, men and children of Gaza. As a result untold hundreds, maybe thousands, of Palestinians have perished because they were denied access to medical care or medicine.

Zionist Israel claims it wants to live in peace since ending the formal military occupation of Gaza in 2005. But the truth in action is anything but peace-seeking. The land occupation of Gaza was replaced with an even harsher blockade and the continued full control of Gazan skies, coastline and border crossings, even the Rafah lifeline crossing with Egypt.

In effect, Zionist Israel has given native Palestinians in Gaza one of two obscene choices: to die of starvation as a result of the blockade, or be exterminated by the Israeli-American war machine.

This latest escalation of Zionist Israel’s genocidal onslaught against native Palestinians must stop. And the fascist, racist ideology of Zionism must be fully exposed and to people of conscience everywhere, both Jews and non-Jews. The world must see Zionism for what it is and categorically reject it as the ethical travesty it is. Then, and only then, can there be any chance for peace to prevail in a place once called “the Holy Land.”

    Zionist genocidal Isreaelis

It is a good thing that the Palestinians (and Hamas) are as pure as the driven snow, huh? Because Hamas would NEVER fire rockets from civilian areas (using civilians as cover is a violation of the Geneva conventions after all) and would NEVER use civilian casualities delibrately for propaganda purposes, right?

But I digress-you would never say anything negative about your own side would you? Which is why nobody (except fellow Muslims) will take you seriously. Grow up and hold your own people accountable once in a while-you’ll see alot more respect from the rest of the world for your situation.

But you get off on playing the victim-and I doubt you will ever change.

At my son’s school, there is a child who would like to spend some playtime with my son. His surname is Elmasry. No way in Hell is he getting playtime with my son. After this school year, I am taking my son out of the public, magnet school that he attends. He will attend a Christian school. There he will find no one named Elmasry.

    We need more cowbell here.

    What utter nonsense.

When the rockets stop…..Israel MIGHT stop. Its likely they will but they shouldn’t. Not until the entire strip has had some very severe urban renewal.

    • Palestinians are a people under occupation who has the right to self-determination under the UN Charter, the Declaration on Principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Co-operation among States in Accordance with the Charter of the United Nations from 1970, and Article 1 of both the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
      The right to self-determination

Palestinians possess a specific history in an identifiable territory, a distinct culture, and a will and capability to gain self-governance.

The right to self-determination was acknowledged by the international community in UN General Assembly Resolution 181 of 29 November 1947, and recently by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in its Advisory Opinion on the Wall (section 118). The ICJ stated that:

“…construction, along with measures taken previously, thus severely impedes the exercise by the Palestinian people of its right to self‑determination, and is therefore a breach of Israel’s obligation to respect that right” (section 122).

To the UN General Assembly website and Resolution 181

The right to resistance under international humanitarian law

International humanitarian law (IHL) does not expressly mention the right of an occupied people to resist an occupation. In 1977 article 1(4) of the First Additional Protocol (IAP) to the Geneva Conventions clearly expanded the application of the IHL to

“…armed conflicts in which peoples are fighting against colonial domination and alien occupation and against racist régimes in the exercise of their right of self-determination…”.

However, Israel is not state-party to the Protocol and is therefore not obliged to follow its clause.
      To ICRC and Article 1(4)
Read more about the First Additional Protocol (IAP)

The use of force as part of resisting occupation in the Palestinian case is therefore derived from the international legitimacy to recourse to armed struggle in order to obtain the right to self-determination. In some cases resistance can also stem from the right to self-defence.

  5. The hypocrisy of the Terrorstinians (and the rest of the Muslim world) in this case is astounding.

When the UN voted to establish a Jewish state in the Middle East, these same folks responded with guns and bombs and attempted to finish the job started by Hitler.

For the last 60 years, they have refused to accept the existence of Israel and have maintained a constant stream of terrorism, punctuated with military action, in violation of international law.

However, when Israel dares to stand up in its own defense, the Terrorstinians and their fellow supporters of genocide turn to the UN for statements demanding that the Jews lay down and die in the face of the jihadi horde.

For decades, the Terrorstinians and their Arab cousins have insisted that the Jews be pushed into the sea — seems to me that Israel needs to follow that policy with regard to the residents of that festering breeding ground of terrorist swine in Gaza.

It is interesting that Memeorandum would chose to display your obscene distortions of the truth. This is something that would never happen in a Muslim-controlled country because the mullahs would never allow it.

If the Western world wants to know what Muslims do when they are given or forcibly take power, they need only look at how the Taliban ran things in the Afghan: Senseless destruction of archaeological monuments, subjugation and oppression of women, brutal and inhumane treatment of prisoners, no rule of law and due process, etc, etc. I cheer Israel on. They are doing what is necessary to defend themselves.

You are correct, they are a people with a right to self determination…in 2005 they were finally given the permission to excercise that right…and they determined they wanted to shoot rockets at israel…bad choice, but at least they exercised their right.
You are correct, they have a distict culture, a culture of death, a culture of corruption, a culture of hating their enemy a lot more than they love their own children…so yes, i agree, a very unique culture.

But since you mention UN resolution 181..did you also notice that that same resolution creates the “jewish state”? Read it closely cause its written right there…so you cant selectively chose parts of the resolution…when will palestinians change their charters and “recognize” the existence of israel? Until that day, dont expect a drop of compassion for your fight to exercise free determination….things have to go both ways dont you think?

    • Yes, because before 1946 zionist/jewis state didn’t exist. Zionist start from tug and robber gang, then terrorist gang, than occupied palestinian land by stealing and robbing. Then with aid from british and USA, zionist terrorist colonialized the palestinian land and push palestinians out of their own land. Now zionist try to genocide palestinians and delete the palestinian state!

    • Read this carefully, can you do it Rob C. with your little brain. CAN YOU ARGUE?

Now, listen and read carefully, i will answer your stupid statement with valid argument, fact and data :

PROOF #1: OUR TESTING TOWARD THE SOURCE Most of the stories which tell us about this matter were being told only by Hisham ibn `Urwah, who wrote it by the order of his father. There supposed minimal 2 or 3 person who wrote the same story or hadist. It is strange that no one in Medinah, where Hisham ibn `Urwah lived, until his 71 years old, had waited to told about this story, besides the fact that there were a lot of students in Medinah include the famous one Malik ibn Anas, never recorded to tell about this story. The beginning of this story was from Iraq people, where Hisham stayed there in his old age after moved from Medinah. Tehzibu’l-Tehzib, one of a quite famous book who discuss about the stories from Hadist tellers, according to Yaqub ibn Shaibah has noted : “Hisham is highly trusted, his story possible to accept, EXCEPT the stories he told after he moved to Iraq“(Tehzi’bu’l-tehzi’b, Ibn Hajar Al- ‘asqala’ni, Dar Ihya al-turath al-Islami, 15th century. Vol 11, p.50).

In his next statement Malik ibn Anas denied the stories from Hisham which recorded by Iraq people. (Tehzi’b u’l-tehzi’b, IbnHajar Al- `asqala’ni, Dar Ihya al-turath al-Islami, Vol.11, p. 50). Mizanu’l-ai`tidal, another book who also discuss as same as Tehzibu’l-tehzib has recorded : “When Hisham got older, his memory had a dramatic fell” (Mizanu’l-ai`tidal, Al-Zahbi, Al-Maktabatu’l-athriyyah, Sheikhupura, Pakistan, Vol. 4, p. 301). CONCLUSION: based on this reference , Hisham’s memory is very poor and his story after he moved to Iraq is highly unbelievable so his story about the age of Aisyah when she got married to Muhammad is not credible. KRONOLOGI: It is very important to record and memorized the important dates on history of Islam. Pra-610 M: Jahiliya (pra- Islamic era) before God’s order is received through Muhammad. 610 M: First God’s words through Muhammad. Abu Bakar receives Islam 613 M: Muhammad started teaching it in his society 615 M: Muhammad moved to Abbysinia 616 M: Umar bin al Khattab receives Islam. 620 M: It is told that Muhammad purposed Aisyah 622 M: Moved to Yathrib, next to be called Medina until now 623/624 M: It is told that Muhammad is married with Aisyah

PROOF#2 : The purposed of Muhammad to Aisyah According to Tabari (also according to Hisham ibn `Urwah, Ibn Hunbal and Ibn Sad), Aisyah was purposed in her 7 years old and married Muhammad in her 9 years old, but, in another section, Al-Tabari said: “All children of Abu Bakr (4 children) was born in Jahiliyah era from his 2 wives “(Tarikhu’l-umam wa’l-mamlu’k, Al-Tabari (died 922), Vol. 4,p. 50, Arabic, Dara’l-fikr, Beirut, 1979). If Aisyah was purposed in 620M (7 years old) and married in 623/624 M(9 years old), this indicate that Aisyah was born in 613 M. So based on Al- Tabari’s writing, Aisyah supposed to be born in 613M, which was 3 years after Jahiliyah era is finished (610 M). Tabari also said that Aisyah was born in Jahiliyah era. If Aisyah was born in Jahiliyah era, Aisyah’s age is supposed to minimal 14 years old when she got married. The point is Tabari has contradiction about his story. CONCLUSION: Al-Tabari is not consistent with Aisyah’s age when she got married.

PROOF # 3: Aisyah’s age compared with Fatimah’s age. According to Ibn Hajar, “Fatima was born when Ka`bah was rebuilt, when Muhammad was 35 years old… Fatimah is 5 years older than Aisyah “(Al-isabah fi tamyizi’l-sahabah, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, Vol. 4, p. 377, Maktabatu’l-Riyadh al-haditha, al-Riyadh, 1978). If the statement from Ibn Hajar is actual, it means Aisyah was born when Muhammad was 40 years old. If Aisyah married with Muhammad when he was 52 years old, then her age when she got married was 12 years old. CONCLUSION: Ibn Hajar, Tabari, Ibn Hisham, dan Ibn Humbal are being contradicted in each other, but it looks obvious that the story about Aisyah got married when she was 7 years old is only a myth.

PROOF #4: Counting Aisyah’s age with Asma’s age According Abda’l-Rahman ibn abi zanna’d: “Asma is 10 years older than Aisyah (Siyar A`la’ma’l-nubala’, Al-Z.ahabi, Vol. 2, p. 289, Arabic, Mu’assasatu’l-risalah, Beirut, 1992). According Ibn Kathir: “Asma is 10 years older than her sister [Aisyah]” (Al-Bidayah wa’l-nihayah, Ibn Kathir, Vol. 8, p. 371,Dar al-fikr al-`arabi, > Al-jizah, 1933). According Ibn Kathir: “Asma saw the murder of her child in 73 H and 5 days after that Asma died. According another sources, she died in next 10 or 20 days after the tragedy, or several days after 20 days, or next 100 days. The most believe is she died in next 100 days. “When Asma died, she was 100 years old” (Al-Bidayah wa’l-nihayah, Ibn Kathir, Vol. 8, p. 372, Dar al-fikr al-`arabi, Al-jizah, 1933). According Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani: “Asma lived until the age of 100 years and died in 73 or 74 H.” (Taqribu’l-tehzib, Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani,p. 654, Arabic, Bab fi’l-nisa’, al-harfu’l-alif, Lucknow). According most of the historians, Asma, the oldest sister from Aisyah is 10years older than Aisyah. If Asma died in her 100 years old in 73 H, Asma supposed to be 27 or 28 years old in Hijrah era (622M). If Asma was 27 or 28 years old in Hijrah era(622 M), in the same time when Aisyah got married, Aisyah supposed to in her 17 or 18 years old. Based on Hajar, Ibn Katir, and Abda’l-Rahman ibn abi zanna’d, Aisyah’s age when she got married with Muhammad was 19 or 20 years old. In Proof# 3, Ibn Hajar has estimated Aisyah’s age is 12 tahun and in proof #4 Ibn Hajar told against his first estimation that Aisyah’s age is 17 or 18 years old. So which one is true? 12 or 18 years old..? conclusion : Ibn Hajar is not valid in the story of Aisyah’s age when she got married.

PROOF #5: BADAR War and UHUD There is a story about the participation of Aisyah in Badr war which is can be found in Moslem Hadist, (Kitabu’l-jihad wa’l-siyar, Part: karahiyati’l-isti`anah fi’l-ghazwi bikafir). Aisyah, when she mentioned about one of the most important moments during her journey in Badar war, said : “when we reached Shajarah”. From this statement, it is obvious that Aisyah was the member of the journey headed to Badar. A story about her participation in Uhud war is mention in Bukhari (Kitabu’l-jihad wa’l-siyar, Part: Ghazwi’l-nisa’ wa qitalihinnama`a’lrijal): “Anas recorded that on the day of Uhud war, people could not stand close to Muhammad and on that day I saw Aisyah and Umm-i-Sulaim from far.” Again, this statement shows the presence of Aisyah in both wars. Uhud and Badr. Told by Bukhari (Kitabu’l-maghazi, Bab Ghazwati’l-khandaq wa hiya’l-ahza’b): “Ibn `Umar said that Muhammad didn’t not allow him to participated in Uhud war, because on that time, Ibnu Umar was only 14 years old. But when in Khandaq war, he was 15 years old so Muhammad allowed him to participated in the war.” Based from the stories, (a) People aged under15 years old will be sent home and not allowed to follow the war, (b) Aisyah followed the Badar war and Uhud war. CONCLUSION: The participation of Aisyah in Badar war and Uhud war was clearly indicated that she wasn’t 9 years old at that time but at least was 15 years old. Besides, the women who followed their husband to the war was had function, helping and support their husband and not just to be a burden for their husband. This also another proof about the contradiction of Aisyah’s age when she got married.

PROOF #6: Surah al-Qamar (means MOON. Surah is the name of each part in Quran) According to several stories, Aisyah was born in the 8th year before Hijrah, but according another source in Bukhari, Aisyah is noted saying this: “I am a young girl(jariyah in Arabic)” when Surah Al-Qamar is told through Muhammad(Sahih Bukhari, kitabu’l-tafsir, Part Qaulihi Bal al-sa`atu Maw`iduhum wa’l-sa`atu adha’ wa amarr). Surat 54 from Quran was told in the 8th year before hijriyah (The Bounteous Koran, M.M. Khatib, 1985), shows that those surah was told in 614 M. If Aisyah started her life with Muhammad when she was 9 years old in 623 M or 624 M, Aisyah was still a baby (sibyah in Arabic) when Surah Al-Qamar is told. Based on the information that mentioned above, Aisyah is a young girl not a baby when Al-Qamar is told. Jariyah, means a young girl (Lane’s Arabic English Lexicon). So , Aisyah, had became a jariyah not sibyah (baby), so she supposed to be in her 6-13 years old in surah Al-Qamar’s era , and based on from that she must be 14-21 years old when got married with Muhammad. Conclusion: this proof provides the information about the age of Aisyah when she got married.

PROOF #7: Terminology in Arabic language According the story from Ahmad ibn Hanbal, after the died of Muhammad first wife, Khadijah, Khaulah came to Muhammad and adviced him to remarried again. Muhammad asked him about the option that Khaulah had in his mind and Khaulah said: “You can marry with a virgin (bikr) or a widow (thayyib)”. When Muhammad asked about the identity of the girl who hasn’t married (bikr), Khaulah mentioned the name of Aisyah. For people who understand Arabic language, they will see that “Bikr” word in Arabic language is not for a young girl with the age of 9 years old. Bikr in the other hand is used for a woman who hasn’t been married and doesn’t have experience in a marriage, as in English language the similar word with it is “virgin”. So it is clear that the term for Bikr is not for a 9 years old girl. (Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Vol. 6, p. .210,Arabic, Dar Ihya al-turath al-`arabi, Beirut).

PROOF #8. Text Qur’an All Moslem people agree that Quran is a holy book (as same as the bibble for the Christian) where we will find the answer for all our questions. So we only need to open Quran to find about the answer about Aisyah’s age and her marriage. Is Quran allow or not allow the marriage of 7years old girl? There is no words which explicitly allow those kind of marriage. There’s words in quran which guides Moslems how to treat and educate orphan children : And do not entrust to those who are weak of judgment the possessions which God has placed in your charge for [their] support; but let them have their sustenance therefrom, and clothe them, and speak unto them in a kindly way. (Qs. 4:5) And test the orphans [in your charge] until they reach a marriageable age; then, if you find them to be mature of mind, hand over to them their possessions; and do not consume them by wasteful spending, and in haste, ere they grow up. And let him who is rich abstain entirely [from his ward’s property]; and let him who is poor partake thereof in a fair manner. And when you hand over to them their possessions, let there be witnesses on their behalf – although none can take count as God does. (Qs. 4:6) When a child is left by their parents, a Moslem is required to (a)feed them, (b)give them clothes, (c) educate them, and (d) test them about their maturity “reach a marriageable age” before trust them into managing the financial matters. In here very clear that no Moslem will trust a 7 years old girl in managing the financial matters means that 7 years old girl is not capable to married because they haven’t reach the “marriageable age” or mature in physicly and intellectually. Ibn Hambal (Musnad Ahmad ibn Hambal, vol.6, p. 33 and 99) stated that 9 years old Aisyah was more interested playing with her toys than took a duty as a wife of someone. That’s why it’s hard to believe that AbuBakar, a respectful Moslem would give his very own young girl to be married with 50 years old Muhammad. As same as difficult imagining that Muhammad was marrying a 7 years old girl. Another important duty in guarding the children is to teach them. Let me ask you a question : how many from us believe that we can teach our kids with the satisfaction result when they are still in 7 or 9 years old?? The answer is : Big Zero. Our logic said that it is impossible to teach them perfectly if they are still in very young age. Aisyah’s father, AbuBakr, is a wiser man who will follow what the Quran has stated and WILL NOT give his child to get married because she’s not mature enough. Also Muhammad will strictly refused those kind of marriage because it’s AGAINST the Quran. Conclusion: The marriage of Aisyah in her 7 years old age is against the statement in Quran about the Marriagable Age. So the story about her marriage with Muhammad when she was 7 years old is only a MYTH.

PROOF #9: The permission in the marriage A Moslem woman must be asked first about her approval in her marriage. (Mishakat al Masabiah, translation by James Robson, Vol. I, p. 665). In Islam, the approval from the woman side is a basic condition in leading to a legal marriage. It is beyond our imagination that a smart man like AbuBakr will approve the marriage of his daughter who not eligible enough to give an approval of her marriage. As stated in Hadist, Aisyah is more interested playing with her toys in her 7 years old age. Conclusion : Muhammad would not marry a 7 years old girl because the girl wasn’t mature enough to approved the wedding, as for Moslem woman who want to get married, the approval from herself is very essential. So there’s only one possibility, Muhammad was married to Aisyah based on her own approval to get married with him, it means at that time Aisyah was mature enough to realize the situation she would face, the marriage between herself and a man named, Muhammad. SUMMARY: There’s no tradition in Arab to marry their sons or daughters when they still in 7 or 9 years old. Therefore, it’s impossible about the story of Muhammad married with Aisyah when she was 7 or 9 years old. Clearly, the story of Aisyah’s wedding in her 9 year old age by Hisham ibn `Urwah can not be consider as a true story and the story itself against with another stories which already written in some ancient books which I already gave the references above. More far, there’s no reason to accept Hisham ibn `Urwah’s story as a true story when the other experts, include Malik ibn Anas, has stated that the Hisham ibn `Urwah’s story during his stayed in Iraq is not reliable. The comments from Tabari,Bukhari and Muslim show us that between them there’s internal contradiction about the real age of Aisyah when she got married. So, the history about Aisyah’s marriage isn’t reliable because an obvious contradiction was happening between the experts of Islam history. Also in Qur’an itself the marriage of woman or man who still not in their marriageable age is strictly not allow.

He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms, established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the worlds of human thought and behavior for all times to come.

“HIS NAME IS MUHAMMAD” May Peace of God Be Upon Him (pbuh)

He was born in Arabia in the year 570 C.E. (common era), started his mission of preaching the religion of Truth, Islam (submission to One God) at the age of forty and departed from this world at the age of sixty-three.

During this short period of 23 years of his Prophethood, he changed the complete Arabian peninsula from paganism and idolatry to worship of One God, from tribal quarrels and wars to national solidarity and cohesion, from drunkenness and debauchery to sobriety and piety, from lawlessness and anarchy to disciplined living, from utter bankruptcy to the highest standards of moral excellence. Human history has never known such a complete transformation of a people or a place before or since – and IMAGINE all these unbelievable wonders in JUST OVER TWO DECADES.

Lamartine, the renowned historian speaking on the essentials of human greatness wonders:

“If greatness of purpose, smallness of means and astounding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad? The most famous men created arms, laws and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which often crumbled away before their eyes. This man moved not only armies, legislation, empires, peoples and dynasties, but millions of men in one-third of the then inhabited world; and more than that, he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the beliefs and souls….his forbearance in victory, his ambition, which was entirely devoted to one idea and in no manner striving for an empire; his endless prayers, his mystic conversations with God, his death and his triumph after death; all these attest not to an imposture but to a firm conviction which gave him the power to restore a dogma. This dogma was two-fold, the unity of God and the immateriality of God; the former telling what God is, the latter telling what God is not; the one overthrowing false gods with the sword, the other starting an idea with the words.

“Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images, the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is MUHAMMAD. As regards all the standards by which Human Greatness may be measured, we may well ask, IS THERE ANY MAN GREATER THAN HE?” (Lamartine, HISTOIRE DE LA TURQUIE, Paris, 1854, Vol. II, pp 276-277)

The world has had its share of great personalities. But these were one-sided figures who distinguished themselves in but one or two fields, such as religious thought or military leadership. The lives and teachings of these great personalities of the world are shrouded in the mist of time.

There is so much speculation about the time and place of their birth, the mode and style of their life, the nature and detail of their teachings and the degree and measure of their success or failure that it is impossible for humanity to reconstruct accurately the lives and teachings of these men.

Not so this man. Muhammad (pbuh) accomplished so much in such diverse fields of human thought and behavior in the fullest blaze of human history. Every detail of his private life and public utterances has been accurately documented and faithfully preserved to our day. The authenticity of the record so preserved are vouched for not only by the faithful followers but even by his prejudiced critics.

Muhammad (pbuh) was a religious teacher, a social reformer, a moral guide, an administrative colossus, a faithful friend, a wonderful companion, a devoted husband, a loving father – all in one. No other man in history ever excelled or equaled him in any of these different aspects of life – but it was only for the selfless personality of Muhammad (pbuh) to achieve such incredible perfections.

MAHATMA GANDHI, speaking on the character of Muhammad, (pbuh) says in YOUNG INDIA:

“I wanted to know the best of one who holds today’s undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind….I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to this friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission.

These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet’s biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life.”

THOMAS CALYLE in his HEROES AND HERO WORSHIP, was simply amazed as to:

“how one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades.”

    DIWAN CHAND SHARMA wrote:

“Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him.” (D.C. Sharma, THE PROPHETS OF THE EAST, Calcutta, 1935, pp. 12)

EDWARD GIBBON and SIMON OCKLEY speaking on the profession of ISLAM write:

“‘I BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, AND MAHOMET, AN APOSTLE OF GOD’ is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. The intellectual image of the Deity has never been degraded by any visible idol; the honor of the Prophet has never transgressed the measure of human virtues; and his living precepts have restrained the gratitude of his disciples within the bounds of reason and religion.” (HISTORY OF THE SARACEN EMPIRES, London, 1870, p. 54)

Muhammad (pbuh) was nothing more or less than a human being. But he was a man with a noble mission, which was to unite humanity on the worship of ONE and ONLY ONE GOD and to teach them the way to honest and upright living based on the commands of God. He always described himself as, ‘A Servant and Messenger of God,’ and so indeed every action of his proclaimed to be.

Speaking on the aspect of equality before God in Islam, the famous poetess of India, SAROJINI NAIDU says:

“It was the first religion that preached and practiced democracy; for, in the mosque, when the call for prayer is sounded and worshippers are gathered together, the democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day when the peasant and king kneel side by side and proclaim: ‘God Alone is Great’… I have been struck over and over again by this indivisible unity of Islam that makes man instinctively a brother.” (S. Naidu, IDEALS OF ISLAM, vide Speeches & Writings, Madras, 1918, p. 169)

In the words of PROF. HURGRONJE:

“The league of nations founded by the prophet of Islam put the principle of international unity and human brotherhood on such universal foundations as to show candle to other nations.” He continues: “The fact is that no nation of the world can show a parallel to what Islam has done towards the realization of the idea of the League of Nations.”

The world has not hesitated to raise to divinity, individuals whose lives and missions have been lost in legend. Historically speaking, none of these legends achieved even a fraction of what Muhammad (pbuh) accomplished. And all his striving was for the sole purpose of uniting mankind for the worship of One God on the codes of moral excellence. Muhammad (pbuh) or his followers never at any time claimed that he was a Son of God or the God-incarnate or a man with divinity – but he always was and is even today considered as only a Messenger chosen by God.

MICHAEL H. HART in his recently published book on ratings of men who contributed towards the benefit and upliftment of mankind writes:

“My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels.” (M.H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York, 1978, p. 33)

    K. S. RAMAKRISHNA RAO, an Indian Professor of Philosophy in his booklet, “Muhammad, The Prophet of Islam,” calls him the “PERFECT MODEL FOR HUMAN LIFE.” Prof. Ramakrishna Rao explains his point by saying:

“The personality of Muhammad, it is most difficult to get into the whole truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic succession of picturesque scenes! There is Muhammad, the Prophet. There is Muhammad, the Warrior; Muhammad, the Businessman; Muhammad, the Statesman; Muhammad, the Orator; Muhammad, the Reformer; Muhammad, the Refuge of Orphans; Muhammad, the Protector of Slaves; Muhammad, the Emancipator of Women; Muhammad, the Judge; Muhammad, the Saint. All in all these magnificent roles, in all these departments of human activities, he is alike a hero.”

Today after a lapse of fourteen centuries, the life and teachings of MUHAMMAD (pbuh) have survived without the slightest loss, alteration or interpolation. They offer the same undying hope for treating mankind’s many ills, which they did when he was alive. This is not a claim of Muhammad’s (pbuh) followers but also the inescapable conclusion forced upon by a critical and unbiased history.

The least YOU could do as a thinking and concerned human being is to stop for a moment and ask yourself: Could these statements sounding so extraordinary and revolutionary be really true? And supposing they really are true and you did not know this man MUHAMMAD (pbuh) or hear about him, isn’t it time you responded to this tremendous challenge and put in some effort to know him?

It will cost you nothing but it may prove to be the beginning of a completely new era in your life.

We invite you to make a discovery of this wonderful man, Muhammad (pbuh), the like of whom never walked on the face of this earth.

26: And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem’s house, and went out.
27: The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.

29: And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house.
30: And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

5: And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baal-peor.
6: And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
      7: And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
8: And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

6: And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

25: And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai.
26: For Joshua drew not his hand back, wherewith he stretched out the spear, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai.

8: And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.
9: And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

6: But Adoni-bezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.
7: And Adoni-bezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

30: And the children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and put themselves in array against Gibeah, as at other times.

37: And the liers in wait hasted, and rushed upon Gibeah; and the liers in wait drew themselves along, and smote all the city with the edge of the sword.
43: Thus they inclosed the Benjamites round about, and chased them, and trode them down with ease over against Gibeah toward the sunrising.
46: So that all which fell that day of Benjamin were twenty and five thousand men that drew the sword; all these were men of valour.
48: And the men of Israel turned again upon the children of Benjamin, and smote them with the edge of the sword, as well the men of every city, as the beast, and all that came to hand: also they set on fire all the cities that they came to.

9: And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish.
10: And Achish said, Whither have ye made a road to day? And David said, Against the south of Judah, and against the south of the Jerahmeelites, and against the south of the Kenites.
11: And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines.
12: And Achish believed David, saying, He hath made his people Israel utterly to abhor him; therefore he shall be my servant for ever.

      1 Kings, chapter 15
28: Even in the third year of Asa king of Judah did Baasha slay him, and reigned in his stead.
29: And it came to pass, when he reigned, that he smote all the house of Jeroboam; he left not to Jeroboam any that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according unto the saying of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite:

      2 Kings, chapter 10
1: And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab’s children, saying,
6: Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master’s sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king’s sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.
7: And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king’s sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.
10: Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.
11: So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.
14: And he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive, and slew them at the pit of the shearing house, even two and forty men; neither left he any of them.
16: And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.
17: And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.
24: And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.
25: And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.
30: And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.

      2 Kings, chapter 15
14: For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15: And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

      Jeremiah, chapter 51
      1: Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;
2: And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.
3: Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

5: And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
6: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

      Matthew 10

34: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35: For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36: And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Joe Stalin and Mohammed. Two of history’s ruthless mass-murderers. But I’ll of course grant that Shaw is eminently quotable with the clever witticism:

Martyrdom: The only way a man can become famous without ability.

You may not like the source, but the fact remains: Mohammed had people’s heads cut off. To TERRORIZE bystanders.

Which makes Mohammed a TERRORIST, pure and simple.

Military History Quarterly featured a great piece on this guy about 6 months ago. Quite complimentary of Mohammed’s skills as a general and strategic thinker, really. But there’s no question he used some pretty barbaric methods to sieze political and religious power. Money quote:

“Terrorism seems to be an indispensable element of a successful insurgency, and it was no less so in Muhammad’s case. He used terrorism in two basic ways: First, he ensured discipline among his followers by making public examples of traitors and backsliders. In Muhammad’s day the penalty for apostasy in Islam was death. He also ordered some of his political enemies assassinated, including poets and singers who had publicly ridiculed him. When his armies marched into Mecca, for example, Muhammad’s suffah set about hunting down a list of old enemies marked for execution. Second, Muhammad used terrorism to strike fear in the hearts of his enemies on a large scale. In the case of the Jewish tribes of Medina, Muhammad seems to have ordered the death of the entire Beni Qaynuqa tribe and the selling of their women and children into slavery, though he was later talked out of it by the chief of one of his allies. On another occasion, again against a Jewish tribe of Medina, he ordered all the tribe’s adult males, some nine hundred, beheaded in the city square, the women and children sold into slavery, and their property distributed among his Muslim followers. Shortly after the conquest of Mecca, Muhammad declared “war to the knife” against all those who remained idolaters, instructing his followers to kill any pagans they encountered on the spot. His ruthlessness and brutality served to strengthen his hand with opponents and allies alike.”

Whoops. Just wanted to boldface “Military History Quarterly”, but forgot to put the end tag.

BTW, you say that Christ said he’d return to the earth with a sword. That may be true, but during his actual lifetime, he never actually KILLED anybody (or ordered anybody killed). So to talk about Mohammed vs. Christ in this respect is really a case of apples vs. oranges.

(Now, if Christ DOES come back and start hacking people’s heads off — as Mohammed liked to do — then I’ll be the first to call him a terrorist. But it’s been 2000 years since his death, and we’re still waiting. And waiting…)

    • so, give me proofs from holybook al-Qur’an; where are Muhammad (pbuh)’s teaching about terrorism and cutting ‘head’ of for other peoples!

      1. Jesus did not exist

Even non-Christians sometimes think that Jesus existed. However, the Jesus as we know him definitely did not exist, and I think it is doubtful if there was actually a historical Jesus at all. This page merely highlights some of the sensible historical beliefs of those who belief that Jesus is mythical. The links at the bottom of the page are to many pages and books that go through what historical information we have and look at the various arguments throughout the last 2000 years on the existence of Jesus (people have doubted his existence since literalist Christianity spread).

The biggest problem facing those who do not believe in a literal Jesus is to account for early Christianity, so all the theories below naturally do this in various ways. Of all the explanations over the millennia, the one that makes least sense is that there was a real Jesus! Throughout this page I use the term “literalist” Christian to differentiate them from “Gnostic” Christians.

      1. Jesus has no History
      2. Possibility 1: Jesus was a Jewish Messianic cult leader
      3. Possibility 2: Jesus Mysteries hypothesis: Jesus was another Mystery Religion god man

      2. Jesus was a ghost!

After He rose from the dead, Jesus Christ did several things which have embarrassed His followers ever since.

Historically Christians have maintained that the resurrected Jesus was not a ghost but that the same physical body which was crucified, dead and buried actually returned to life. Christians eagerly point to that passage of Scripture where Jesus reassures his disciples that he is not a spirit by showing them his wounded hands and side (Luke 24:36-40). Those believing is a physical resurrection also appeal to the fact that he ate food to show that he was indeed physical and not a spiritual apparition. But for those who maintain a physical resurrection, the embarrassing fact is that the resurrected Jesus did some very ghost-like things.

      * He appeared and vanished at will (Luke 24: 30-36).
      * He entered rooms though locked doors (John 20:19 & 26).
      * He evidenced control over nature (John 21: 1-6).
      * He accurately foretold the future (John 21:17-25).
      * He could be with familiar friends and not be recognized until he chose to be (Luke 24: 13-31).
      * He displayed telepathic ability in knowing the content of conversations which took place when he was not present (John 20: 24-29).

There are big different, if you compare Muhammad (pbuh) with jesus, Muhammad too goog to jesus, indeed!

jesus died young, arround 30 yrs old; no money, no power, no leadership capability, no army, and no single war he involve!

but i am sure, if he has all capabilities; he will act barbaric and brutal like mention in bibble :

      In Genesis 34
25: And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.
30: And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

      In Exodus, chapter 32
27: And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

      In Numbers, chapter 25
4: And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

      In Numbers, chapter 31
17: Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

      In Deuteronomy, chapter 2
34: And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain

      In Deuteronomy, chapter 3
4: And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
5: All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.
6: And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

      In Deuteronomy, chapter 7
2: And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them

      In Deuteronomy, chapter 13
15: Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
16: And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.

      In Deuteronomy, chapter 20
13: And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword
16: But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth
17: But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee

      In Joshua, chapter 6
21: And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.

      In Joshua, chapter 8
24: And it came to pass, when Israel had made an end of slaying all the inhabitants of Ai in the field, in the wilderness wherein they chased them, and when they were all fallen on the edge of the sword, until they were consumed, that all the Israelites returned unto Ai, and smote it with the edge of the sword.
25: And so it was, that all that fell that day, both of men and women, were twelve thousand, even all the men of Ai.
26: For Joshua drew not his hand back, wherewith he stretched out the spear, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai.

      In Joshua, chapter 11
11: And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.
12: And all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and smote them with the edge of the sword, and he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD commanded.
13: But as for the cities that stood still in their strength, Israel burned none of them, save Hazor only; that did Joshua burn.
14: And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.
21: And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.
22: There was none of the Anakims left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, there remained.

      In Judges, chapter 1
4: And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.
8: Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire.

      In Judges, chapter 20
35: And the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.
37: And the liers in wait hasted, and rushed upon Gibeah; and the liers in wait drew themselves along, and smote all the city with the edge of the sword.

      In 1 Samuel, chapter 15
3: Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
8: And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

      In 1 Samuel, chapter 27
8: And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
9: And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish.
11: And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should tell on us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwelleth in the country of the Philistines.

      In 1 Kings, chapter 15
29: And it came to pass, when he reigned, that he smote all the house of Jeroboam; he left not to Jeroboam any that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according unto the saying of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite:

      In 1 Kings, chapter 16
11: And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
12: Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,

      In 2 Kings, chapter 10
7: And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king’s sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.
11: So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.

      In 2 Kings, chapter 15
14: For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
16: Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

      In Jeremiah, chapter 50
21: Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.
26: Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left.
27: Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation.

      In Jeremiah, chapter 51
3: Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine: and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

      In Ezekiel, chapter 9
6: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

      In Matthew 10
34: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35: For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36: And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

Proof? Try googling “bana qurayza massacre”.

Ah, heck, I’ll do it for ya:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=banu+qurayza%2Bmassacre&btnG=Search

First item found: Wikipedia. ‘Bout 800 prisoners-of-war Mohammed had put to death by decapitation. Which makes Mohammed the “prophet” not merely a terrorist, but a war criminal. A genocidal war criminal. (It WAS genocide, because Mohammed’s victims were all members of a single tribe).

The incident is alluded to in these lines from the Koran:

    033.026
YUSUFALI: And those of the People of the Book who aided them – Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts. (So that) some ye slew, and some ye made prisoners.
PICKTHAL: And He brought those of the People of the Scripture who supported them down from their strongholds, and cast panic into their hearts. Some ye slew, and ye made captive some.
SHAKIR: And He drove down those of the followers of the Book who backed them from their fortresses and He cast awe into their hearts; some you killed and you took captive another part.

    http://www.usc.edu/schools/college/crcc/engagement/resources/texts/muslim/quran/033.qmt.html

In fact, the entire incident sounds quite a lot like Mohammad’s very own version of Srebrinica. From one of the Hadiths:

    Book 38, Number 4390:
    Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi:

I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.

So Mohammed deliberately had the heads of little 13 year-old boys hacked off. Some holy man!

Incidentally, it’s amusing that Mo Elmasry describes Israelis in Nazi terms. Shame he doesn’t tell anybody that one of Adolf Hitler’s best buddies was not only a Muslim, but a Muslim cleric (the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammad Amin al-Husayni):

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammad_Amin_al-Husayni#Ties_with_the_Axis_Powers_during_World_War_II

Oh, and who can forget the time a Palestinian nicknamed Adolf Hitler won a primary among his genocidal confederates on the West Bank?

    http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/01/22/news/pals.php

It seems then, that when Muslims call each other “Hitler”, they consider it not a slur, but a compliment!

  25. The Prophet Known As Joe (Peace Be Upon Him) said

Yeah, sure, that makes lots of sense. I contend that Mohammed was a terrorist. You tell me the Koran says it ain’t so.

Only one problem: Mohammed wrote the Koran to begin with!

Since Mohammed WROTE the Koran, there’s no way ANYONE should trust it as an objective source as to whether or not he was a terrorist. It’s not like he was going to add a verse or two in there admitting that he was.

The only thing we have to go by are the hadiths and the writings of contemporary Islamic observers. (Unfortunately we don’t have any account from the tribe he exterminated, because he well, kind of EXTERMINATED

  26. The Prophet Known As Joe (Peace Be Upon Him) said

    them.)

By the way, this represents a big theological problem for Muslims. Many, if not most, Muslims are peace-loving people, I’ll admit that. But at the end of the day, if THEY regard Mohammed as some kind of moral exemplar, then they have a problem. Because the terrorists in their midst ALSO look on Mohammed as a moral North Star. When they read that Mohammed ordered the heads of 800 POWs hacked off, they decide that that’s an acceptable form of behavior, and do the same in Pakistan or Iraq. Or plot to do the same thing in Canada.

So you see, your big problem isn’t convincing ME that Mohammed was as peaceful as Buddha. No, your big problem is persuading the EXTREMISTS IN YOUR MIDST in your midst that Mohammed was a kind, gentle sweetheart who never hurt a fly.

I’m not buyin’ it. And more importantly, THEY’RE not buyin’ it.

And that’s why we have Islamic terrorism today. Including among your good buddies, the Islamic supremacists of Hamas.

    • joe, Muhammad (pbuh) can not write (ummi), Muhammad memorized them and with help of sahabahs write it down in rocks, animal bones, tree skin, fabric material and paper, etc.

I’ve put the relevent quote in boldface. By your own rules — YOU asked for a line in the Koran which says Mohammed committed terrorism, and I HAVE GIVEN IT TO YOU.

Whether you’re intellectually courageous enough to accept that is your own affair.

Mohammed himself writes that he used TERROR to frighten his enemies. Notice how he pretties things up — he doesn’t tell us he had their heads chopped off. He “forgets” to tell his audience how he emulated Slobodan Milosovic and had 13 year-old boys decapitated. And he doesn’t tell us it was an act of genocide.

That’s where the hadiths and other contemporary sources come in. They fill in the picture.

No reputable historian would ever try to learn about Julius Caesar just by reading his book, The Gallic Wars. While some of what he says may be true, other things he says may be self-serving and even dishonest. To get a more complete picture, we have to read what Caesar’s contemporaries wrote. Some of those contemporaries will have favorable things to say about him; others say negative things. They all help to add to our knowledge of the man and his times.

Same thing goes for Mohammed. If you’re trying to learn about him, you can’t just trust the Koran. Because some of what General Mohammed has to say is going to be self-serving and dishonest, just like General Caesar. Any reputable historian is going to want to know what Mohammed’s contemporaries (or near-contemporaries) had to say about him.

As for all that stuff about Christ, give it a rest, huh? Where did you get the idea I was a Christian?

Surely you know by now, I’m a prophet. A prophet who writes the words of wisdom revealed to me by the great goddess Athena!

Jews today have abandoned their Torah and embraced Zionism, a constructive identity creation that serves to promote a racial discriminatory people. 32. joe … here are the explanation of surah al ahzab [33]

    THE BATTLE of BANU-QURAIZAH

In the Glorious Qur’an, Allah, Most High, says,

” And Allah turned back the unbelievers for (all) their fury: no advantage did they gain; and enough is Allah for the believers in their fight. And Allah is Full of Strenght, Exalted in Might. And those of the people of the Book who aided them – Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) some ye slew, and some ye made captives. And He made you heirs of their lands, their houses, and their goods, and of a land which ye had not frequented (before). And Allah has power over all things. (Al-Ahzab: 25-27) ”

In Sahih Al-Bukhari, we read the following narrations regarding the battle of Quraizha:

Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from Al-Khandaq and laid down his arms and took a bath, Gabriel come and said (to the Prophet) “You have laid down you arms? By Allah, we angels have not laid the down yet. So set out for them.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Where to go?” Gabriel said, “Towards this side.” pointing towards Banu Quraizah. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out to towards them.”

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “As if I am just now Looking at the dust rising the the street of Banu Ghanm (in Medina) because of the marching of Gbriel’s regiment when Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out Banu Quraizah (to Attack)
Likewise, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that on the day of Al-Ahzab the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,

“None of you (Muslims) should offer the Asr Prayer but at Banu Quraizah’s place.”

The Asr Prayer become due for some of them in the way. Some of those said, “We will not offer it until we reach it place of Banu Quraizah.” while some others said, “No, we will pray at this spot, for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not mean that for us.” Later on, it was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he did not berate any of the two groups. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) besieged them for twenty-five nights until they were sore pressed and Allah cast terror into their hearts. Consequently, They submitted to the Messenger’s Judgment. The tribe of Al-Aws leapt up and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, they are our allies, not allies of Al-Khazrj, and you know how you recently treated the allies of our brethren (his pardon about Banu Qanuqa). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,

“O will you be satisfied, O Aws, if one of your own tribe pronounces judgment on them?”

when they agreed he said that Sa’d Ibn Mu’adh was that man.

Al-Bukhari narrated the authority of Abu Sa’id Al-Khudari (may Allah be pleased with him) who said that the people of Quraizha agreed to accept the verdict of Sa’ad Ibn Mu’ad. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent for Sa’d and the latter come (riding) a donkey and when he approached the Mosque, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to the Ansar,

” Get up for your chief of for the best among you.” Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Sa’d, “These (Banu Quraizah) have agreed to accept your verdict.” Sa’d said, “Kill their (men) warriors and take their offspring as captives!” On that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “you have judged according to Allah’s judgment.” or said, “according to the King’s judgment.”
Moreover, Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that, “sa’d was wounded on the day of Khandaq when a man from Quraish, called Hibban Ibn Al-Araqah hit him (with an arrow). The man was Hibban Ibn Qais from (the tribe of) Bani Mais Ibn Amir Ibn Lu’ai who shot an arrow as Sa’d’s medile arm vein )or main artery of the arm). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pitched a tent (for Sa’d) in the Mosque so that he might be bear to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to visit. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from the battle of Al-Khandaq and laid down his arms and took a bath Gabriel come to him while was shaking the dust off his head, and said, “You have laid down the arms?” By Allah, I have not laid them down. Go out to them.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Where?” Gabriel pointed towards Banu Quraizha. So Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to them. They then surrendered to the Prophet’s judgment but he directed them to sa’d to give his verdict concerning them. Sa’d said, ‘I give my judgment that their warriors should be killed, their women and children should be taken a captives, and their properties distributed.’

Hisham said, “My father informed me that Aishah said, Sa’d said, ‘O Allah! You know that there is nothing more beloved to me than to fight in Your Cause against those who disbelieved Your Messenger and turned him out of (Mecca). O Allah! I think you have put to an and the fight between us and them (Quraish infidels). And if there still remains any fight with the Quraish, then keep me alive until I fight against them for Your Sake. But if you have brought the war to an and, then let this wound burst and cause my death thereby.’ So blood gushed from the wound. There was a tent in the Mosque belonging to Banu Ghifar who were surprised by the blood flowing towards them. They said, ‘O people of the tent! What is this thing which is coming to us from your side? Behold was flowing profusely out of Sa’d wound. Sa’d then died because of that.’ “

  33. Fair trial for jews, who defeated in war : End of Banu Quraizah

The siege lasted for twenty-five days. On the last day, Ali carried the citadel by assault. All Jews were taken captive, and Ali offered his midnight prayer in the courtyard of the citadel. In spite of their defeat the Holy Prophet was inclined to offer the Jews easy terms, more or less the terms which had been previously offered to Banu Qainuqa and Banu Nadir. The Jews, however, desired that Sa’ad b Muadh the leader of the Banu Aus be appointed as the arbitrator. The Holy Prophet accepted the proposal, and Sa ad was asked to suggest terms that should be offered to the Jews. Sa’ad asked the Jews whether they would like the terms to be offered to them under the Islamic law or the Jewish law. They said that as they were Jews and not Muslims, they would like the Jewish law to be applied to their case. Sa’ad consulted the Jewish rabbis, and asked of them the question, “If in a battle against the Muslims you would have won, and taken the Muslim men and woman captive, how would you have treated the captives under the Jews law?” They said that in that case they would have killed the men and sold the women and children as slaves. Thereupon Sa’ad gave his verdict that all male adults of the Banu Quraizah should be killed and their women and children should be sold as slaves. On hearing this verdict, the Jews were stunned and a pall of mourning fell upon them. It was a harsh sentence, but for all that happened the Jews were themselves to blame. They were guilty to high treason, and they had to face the consequences of their misconduct. Even then if they had thrown themselves on the mercy of the Holy Prophet, they would have escaped with a lighter punishment. Instead of asking for terms from the Holy Prophet they sought the verdict of an arbitrator of their own choice. Again they had opted for the Jewish law, and the sentence awarded was in conformity with such laws. The verdict was carried into effect. Over two hundred male Jews were executed. The Holy Prophet commissioned Ali to supervise the process of execution. About six hundred Jews comprising women and children were sold as slaves. The property of the Jews was confiscated and distributed among the Muslims. Details about such property are not available, but as the Jews were a rich people, this property both movable and immovable must have been considerable, and the share of each Muslim would have been sufficient to make him well to do. That would have considerably improved the financial position of Ali, and in this context, the oft-repeated accounts of the poverty of Ali or the Holy Prophet cannot be accepted. As over six hundred Jews were sold as slaves, Fatima would have got a slave girl to work for her. In the Battle of the Ditch or in the military operations against Banu Quraizah, Ali played the most important part. It was Ali who killed the “Hazar Mard” of the Quraish in a duel. It was Ali who carried the citadel of Banu Quraizah by assault. Details about the exploits of Ali are not available in the accounts that have come down to us.
