Debunking the ‘Suicide for 72 Virgins’ Myth

One of the biggest Israeli propaganda myths is the invention of 72 virgins as a Muslim reward for suicide. This has been repeated to the western world so often that most people accept it as fact. The media wants us to believe that there cannot be anything wrong about Israelis – who must be seen as eternal victims – to cause anyone to commit suicide as a means of striking back at them. Heavens no! The motivation for suicide bombings in Israel has nothing to do with Jewish treatment of Palestinians. Instead it has to do with the evilness of the Palestinians and their religious beliefs. This is the “bill of goods” they sell the western mind while at the same time faking most, if not all the “Islamic suicide bombings” to blame on Muslims.

It is a sick and despicable mind that feels that it has a right to attack, steal, murder and cause harm to others but if the others dare fight back they are wrong and therefore terrorists. This one sentence describes Israeli thinking and their policies. They believe they are superior and entitled and they have a right to do anything to other people and those people better not retaliate. As a result they have done more by way of propaganda to take the legitimate fight of those who are against their wrongs and demonize them. We now have this ongoing enormous propaganda campaign to make Palestinians and anyone belonging to the same religion as Palestinians, to be seen as mindless terrorists and suicide bombers with no cause other than to do evil. And, of course, vicariously receiving 72 virgins as a reward in paradise for committing suicide to kill a few Israelis.

The Qur’an and valid authentic Hadiths are very clear about what happens to anyone who commits suicide.

Why the Middle East is More Dangerous Now Than in Past 30 Years

Robert Fisk is a veteran war correspondent and one of the world’s most experienced journalists covering the Middle East. He has reported from across the Arab world for the past thirty years.. Continue

The Cold War was not a struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union

It was a struggle between the United States and the Third World. What there was, was people all over the Third World fighting for economic and political changes against US-supported repressive regimes, or setting up their own progressive governments. These acts of self-determination didn’t coincide with the needs of the American power elite, and so the United States moved to crush those governments and movements even though the Soviet Union was playing virtually no role at all in these scenarios.

The Assault on LibertiesWho’s Really Responsible

Bush’s Draconian measures range from the suspension of habeas corpus to warrantless eavesdropping to the right of the president to decide what constitutes torture, to prisons where hundreds face indefinite detention without any charges being brought against them, to other even more secret CIA facilities filled with “ghost prisoners” for whom the CIA has never accounted.

Decadence, Waste, Corruption in the New American Empire

“An empire is always coercive and autocratic: It is like a cover that presses on a boiling cauldron. At a certain point, the internal pressure is too strong, the cover is blown off and there is a sort of volcanic eruption.” Umberto Eco, Italian medievalist

“An empire is a despotism, and an emperor is a despot, bound by no law or limitation but his own will; it is a stretch of tyranny beyond absolute monarchy.” John Adams (1735-1826), 2nd American President

“The deterioration of every government begins with the decay of the principles on which it was founded.” Montesquieu (1689-1755), Charles Louis de Secondat, Baron de Montesquieu

A sure sign of decadence in an empire is when hard earned money seems to lose any meaning and is wasted left and right. There are instances that indicate that is what is happening in the United States today. There is a dance of the billions that defies imagination and that nobody seems to understand. First case in point.

Marvin P. Bush, the president’s younger brother, was a principal in a company called Securacom that provided security for the World Trade Center, United Airlines, and Dulles International Airport. The company, Burns noted, was backed by KuwAm, a Kuwaiti-American investment firm on whose board Marvin Burns also served.

BBC’s 9/11 Yellow Journalism Backfires : Building 7 becomes the Achilles heel of the official conspiracy theory

The BBC’s Conspiracy Files documentary hit piece and their flustered attempts to adopt damage control over questions about why their correspondent reported the collapse of Building 7 before it happened, have only provoked a firestorm of new interest in 9/11 truth and exalted questions surrounding WTC 7 to the point where it is now the Achilles’ heel of the official conspiracy theory.

In reality, this story boils down to two facets and the BBC has not provided an adequate answer to either of them;
a) What was the source of the information that led the BBC to report that Building 7 had collapsed before it did? In his second response, head of BBC World Richard Porter cites CNN, local news media and unnamed firefighters who were interviewed after the fact, but still cannot provide an individual or authority by name.
b) How can we trust the BBC or the establishment media in general to provide accurate information about any major event when all they do is repeat what is told to them and relay it as gospel with no independent verification whatsoever, to the point where we are told a building has collapsed by a reporter while it mockingly stands behind her head?

Building 7 is the weakest link holding together the official conspiracy theory that was dutifully propped up and retold by the lapdog mainstream media on 9/11.

9/11 Uncover : Mineta’s Testimony CONFIRMED

“The plane is 50 miles out. The plane is 30 miles out.” And when it got down to, “The plane is 10 miles out,” the young man also said to the vice president, “Do the orders still stand?” And the vice president turned and whipped his neck around and said, “Of course the orders still stand. Have you heard anything to the contrary?”

The fact that they (US Gov’t) were giving the distance out proves they KNEW where the plane’s path was going to end.

9/11 : 10 False Flags that Changed the World

While citizens pay the Pentagon more money to fight these wars, let’s not forget what Donald Rumsfeld said about the Pentagon on the morning of September 10, 2001: “According to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions.” That bombshell was pretty much forgotten by the next morning.

So, as a reward for losing $8,000 for every man, woman, and child in America, taxpayers patriotically forked over another $370 billion and counting to invade Iraq. True to form, the Pentagon promptly lost $9 billion of that money, too.

Report Suppressed: Iran Gassed Kurds, Not Iraq

The repeated American propaganda weapon to rationalise the deaths of more than one million innocent Iraqis since 1991 through economic sanctions is that Saddam Hussein used poison gas against Iranians during the Iran-Iraq war and against Iraq’s own Kurdish citizens. The accusation is now being invoked to launch a full-scale American assault on Iraq. This claim of Iraq gassing its own citizens at Halabjah is suspect. First, both Iran and Iraq used chemical weapons against each other during their war. Second, at the termination of the Iran-Iraq war, professors Stephen Pelletiere and Leif Rosenberger, and Lt Colonel Douglas Johnson of the US Army War College (USAWC) undertook a study of the use of chemical weapons by Iran and Iraq in order to better understand battlefield chemical warfare. They concluded that it was Iran and not Iraq that killed the Kurds.

In the first report they wrote: “In September 1988 — a month after the war had ended…the state department abruptly, and in what many viewed as sensational manner, condemned Iraq for allegedly using chemical weapons against its Kurdish population…with the result that numerous Kurdish civilians were killed. The Iraqi government denied that any such gassing had occurred…Having looked at all the evidence that was available to us, we find it impossible to confirm the state department’s claim that gas was used in this instance. To begin with there were never any victims produced. International relief organisations who examined the Kurds — in Turkey where they had gone for asylum — failed to discover any. Nor were there any found inside Iraq. The claim rests solely on testimony of the Kurds who had crossed the border into Turkey, where they were interviewed by staffers of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.”

Iraq : It Doesn’t Matter If Hillary Apologizes for Her Iraq War Vote

Hillary Clinton knew years before she voted for the Iraq war that Saddam Hussein didn’t have WMDs — Bill Clinton lied about Iraq’s weapons programs to justify attacking the country in 1998.

The Night of the Generals

The six retired generals who stepped forward last spring to publicly attack Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld’s handling of the Iraq war shared one experience: a growing outrage over the administration’s incompetence, leading some of the nation’s finest soldiers to risk their reputations and cross a time-honored line.

Iraq : If We Just Don’t Call It Colonial Exploitation…

I could alternatively title this, “The Lies That Never End.” Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, writes in the Washington Post:
“Under the national hydrocarbon law approved this week by Iraq’s Council of Ministers, oil will serve as a vehicle to unify Iraq and will give all Iraqis a shared stake in their country’s future. This is a significant achievement for Iraqis’ national reconciliation. It demonstrates that the leaders of Iraq’s principal communities can pull together to peacefully resolve difficult issues of national importance.”

The lies in this piece are beyond counting. The primary ones are those of omission. For example, in describing the provisions of the new oil law, Khalilzad says that it: “Creates a principal policymaking body for energy — the Federal Council on Oil and Gas — that will have representatives from all of Iraq’s regions and oil-producing provinces.” A bit later, Khalilzad writes: “It provides the legal framework to enable international investment in Iraq’s oil and gas sectors, a break from the statist and overcentralized practices of the past.”

It enables “international investment in Iraq’s oil and gas sectors…” You don’t say.
