The Architects Of War: Where Are They Now?

President Bush has not fired any of the architects of the Iraq war. In fact, a review of the key planners of the conflict reveals that they have been rewarded – not blamed – for their incompetence.

Spain judge says Bush and Iraq war allies should face war crimes charges :

Blaming The Victims: Covering Up Terrorism In Iraq

A recent cover story in the Time magazine (March, 2007, Europe and Asia) by Bobby Ghosh, “Why They Hate Each Other”, aimed at removing the Occupation as the generator of violence against the Iraqi people, and portrays the violence as “Iraqis killing Iraqis”. This media distortion obfuscates the U.S. monopoly on terrorism and allows the U.S. to use Iraq as a laboratory for terror at the expense of the Iraqi people.

Four years later, the annihilation of Iraq is still on course

Four years ago, US-led forces began a vicious aerial bombardment of the oil-rich country of Iraq. Referred to as Operation Iraqi Freedom, the opening salvo ushered the vital Arab nation into an era of darkness, dread and destruction.

The first signs that Iraqis were in for a bloody and inhumane occupation were felt in the “precision bombing” of Baghdad and other cities. Arab media clamored viciously to broadcast the freshest images of civilian dead which were coming in to news bureaus every hour.

In the 1,461 days that have since passed, Iraq as a nation is in decay; its people are displaced — refugees in neighboring countries. Nearly 700,000 Iraqis of all religions and sects have died. Public order is in disarray; gunshots and explosions in schools, marketplaces, and parks have replaced the chirp and chatter of everyday life.

Marine admits to killing 18 unarmed Iraqis, says he would do it again

This is for John (the US Marine who would die for me!) and Angelique (who thinks that her husband hasn’t killed anyone in Iraq, but terrorists) and all the supporters of war in Iraq (and everywhere else). Although he was charged with other three marines with murder and the killings of two dozen Iraqi men, women and children on November 19, 2005, in Haditha, Sgt. Frank Wuterich would make the same decisions today.

Be proud of your little sicko monsters, Mr. Bush and all warmongers. Do you know now why we “LOVE” you?

On the other hand, why these war criminals are not put to face International Court for war crimes where others are forced to (except Israel war criminals, of course)? Just an honest, humble, stupid question!

It is sad to see these brainwashed soldiers committing such crimes and ready to do it again, although charged with murder, yet, their leader is having sweet dreams in his bed. It is sad to see beloved American nation paying for the stupidity and crimes of its leaders.

After 4 years: Iraqi Resistance Indicators..Up and Up . Rumsfeld’s Metrics..Wet.

The following graphs show the steady progress of the Iraqi resistance over the four years of occupation. They are extracted from the Iraq Index (pp 23 and 24) and updated on 19th March 2007.

The first graph shows that the average number of attacks have more than doubled in the last year to about 185 per day. That is 1300 per week, and over 5500 attacks per month. Another way of understanding this is that in any one hour, day and night, there are 7-8 new mortar attack, IED, sniper fire, etc. The figures are based on variety of official and semi-official US sources and estimates. The inclusion of ‘Militias’ in the title of the graph is recent, and seems linked to the evolving political vocabulary by the US. In the light of the two other items. Militia can be understood to refer to local vigilantes that are largely part of the resistance.

“Israel’s” Intent to Wipe Palestine Off the Map

Maps Used to Brainwash Israelis about the Non-existence of Palestine… I have come upon a new source for the Israeli popular denial of Palestine and Palestinians which frankly strikes me as symptomatic of a will-to-genocide. Take a look at their maps. Yes, maps! The Israeli government has been playing around with their maps since 1967. The result has been what Professor Oren Yiftachel of Ben-Gurion University, a political-geographer and urban planner from Beer-Sheva, refers to as ‘spatial socialization’ which is used to buttress Israel’s claim to Palestine.

Everyday life under occupation in the West Bank

Over winter break, I met a man whose home had been demolished twice by American-made Caterpillar brand armored bulldozers. Not because the structures were unsafe or because the man is a terrorist, but simply because those were the orders of the soldiers who are occupying his country with arms, helicopter gunships and other equipment provided by the United States.

Stop Dr. Sami Al-Arian’s Death : A Plea By Al-Awda Palestine Right to Return Coalition

Dr. Sami Al-Arian is about to die at the hands of the US government. His situation has been blacked out by the media since his acquittal by a Florida jury of terrorist acts, more than a year and a half ago. He has never been released from custody. Then US government ‘promised’ that he would be released and allowed to return to Palestine with his family. Since that time the government has thrown ridiculous demands at him, re unrelated grand jury questions which he has refused to answer. Each refusal as you are aware, results in more prison time.
