9/11: Why the World Trade Center Tower’s floors could not ‘pancake’ collapse as we have been told

9/11 : Why the World Trade Center Tower’s floors could not ‘pancake’ collapse as we have been told

The typical floor structural configuration for the World Trade Center Towers spanned from the exterior wall columns to where the inner 49 columns formed support for the elevator shafts, stair towers, air shafts and mechanical systems. Thus, each floor was NOT a monolithic slab and structural system spanning across each tower from one exterior wall to the other three, as we are led to believe. Each floor, in fact, terminating at the contiguous structural core, resembled a square ‘donut’, with the structural core, so to speak, being the ‘donut’ hole. Failure of floor structural support in any quadrant of the building plan, or even in any half, thus, would have failed ASSYMETRICALLY. And at the time of failure would not, could not, have ‘pancaked’ symmetrically as the misleading NIST and commission reports indicate (diagrams shown in these reports are graphically out of scale, and do not accurately represent the building’s structure).

Friends of Israel blind to the truth

Friends of Israel blind to the truth

STUART LITTLEWOOD

July 18, 2008

Stuart Littlewood considers the blatant disregard for justice, human rights and basic norms of civilized behaviour shown by Israel’s stooges in the British Parliament, some of whom recently visited Israel and showed far more concern for Israeli terrorists than the Christian and Muslim civilians they terrorize.

The real Zionist vision does not recognise any maps. It is a vision of a state without borders – a state that expands at all times according to its demographic, military and political power.

This warning by the respected Israeli journalist and peace activist Uri Avnery should be impressed on every friend of Israel in the West.

They are so gullible. The Jewish Chronicle last week reported how a group of intrepid Conservative MPs on a “Friends of Israel” junket experienced a “gunfire exchange” in Sderot. One of them said:

“We couldn’t see the gunfire, but could hear that it was close by.” The exchange illustrated the “effects on quality of life that people in the south of Israel suffer on a daily basis. It shows that it is not a sustainable position for these areas to be constantly subject to rocket attacks and that Israel has the right to take appropriate actions to defend its citizens.” Urging Britons to visit Israel, he argued: “It’s very important to show their support for the only democracy in the area. I feel we have a duty and obligation to support Israel.” Read the rest of this entry »

More Evidence Madrid Bombing was a False Flag Op

More Evidence Madrid Bombing was a False Flag Op

Madrid train bombing
It now appears obvious the Madrid bombing was a Gladio-like operation designed to frighten and stampede the Spanish public into supporting the bogus war against terror.

Agence-France Presse reports:

Spain’s supreme court Thursday overturned the guilty verdicts on four of the 21 people convicted over the Madrid train bombings that killed 191 people in 2004.

It also upheld a lower court’s decision to acquit one of the alleged masterminds of the Al Qaeda-inspired attacks, Rabei Ousmane Sayed Ahmed, known as “Mohammed the Egyptian”.

And it handed down a four-year prison term to a Spaniard, Antonio Toro, who had been acquitted on charges of transporting explosives.

Note: the attack is no longer considered the direct handiwork of al-Qaeda but is rather an “al-Qaeda inspired attack.” Back in March, 2004, the corporate media resoundingly declared al-Qaeda to be responsible.

The supreme court Thursday overturned the convictions of Basel Ghalyoun and Mohamed Almallah Dabas, both condemned to 12 years in prison for belonging to a terrorist group.

It also cleared Abdelilah El Fadual El Akil, condemned to nine years for collaborating with a terrorist group, as well as Raul Gonzalez Pena, who had received five years for supplying explosives. Read the rest of this entry »

The common sense approach to why 9/11 was clearly an inside job

The common sense approach to why 9/11 was clearly an inside job

If terrorism was really a threat to the US, don’t you think we would have had another attack since 9/11? It wouldn’t even have to be more airplane attacks. It could be bombs blowing up buses, houses, trains, but no – it hasn’t happened. That shows that there is ABSOLUTELY no homegrown terrorist threat to the US. If you have any common knowledge, you know that you can find most of the ingredients to make a bomb in your local Walmart (Fox has even done reports on it). There are NO terrorists in the US (except for the government, of course).

And then also, look at all the legislation that has been justified in the name of this one, lone 9/11 attack: The Patriot Act, Guantanamo Bay, the FISA warantless wiretapping act, stupid security measures at the airports, the Afghanistan war, the Iraq war, soon to be the Iran and Syria wars. All of this justified in the name of one isolated attack. Just thinking about it in a common sense approach only leaves one conclusion: COMPLETE inside job.

Bombs wipe out wedding party, 47 dead

18 July 2008

American air strikes alone have killed dozens of Afghan civilians, perhaps close to one hundred, in less than two weeks, as the fighting in the country intensifies and the US and its allies step up their efforts to suppress the anti-occupation insurgency.

The American military admitted killing eight civilians in the southwestern province of Farah, near the Iranian border, on July 15. The deputy provincial governor Mohammad Younus Rasouli told the AFP news service that nine women, two men and a boy had been killed.

According to a statement from the US-led coalition, a convoy came under attack in the Bakwa district (whose approximately 80,000 residents are Pashtuns). “The coalition convoy returned fire and called for close air support on the enemy positions. A house was hit; eight civilians were killed, two others injured,” the statement said. It is impossible to say whether this report bears any resemblance to the truth. Read the rest of this entry »

The Children Prisoners of the United States

Juana Carrasco Martín, Translated By Krystal Gillette

July 16, 2008

Cuba – Juventud Rebelde

Crouching, hands tied behind his back, eyes covered with a black blindfold. He is a prisoner in Iraq, where abuses and tortures committed against the detainees in U.S. jails or by Iraqi guards have received worldwide reprobation. But the violation of human rights is even greater in this case that the photograph shows: it’s about children and teens.

It’s paradoxical, but the investigators of the transgression are North American soldiers. Lieutenant Colonel Craig J. Simper, a Judge Advocate General Corps officer from the 419th Fighter Wing in his base in the state of Utah, investigated allegations of torture in a juvenile prison of Baghdad and found clear evidence that Sunni children have been killed by their Shiite captors.

The Salt Lake Tribune published the statements of the official: “The explanation was that these people were trying to escape, but our investigation concluded that they were scheduled to be freed.”

However, another source of that task force spoke of “unsubstantiated allegations” regarding the executions and that “no records were found or documented evidence of the incident.” Read the rest of this entry »

Torture As Official US Policy

July 18, 2008

Post-9/11, torture has been official US policy under George Bush – authorized at the highest levels of government. Evidence of its systematic practice continues to surface. First some background.

On September 17, 2001, George Bush signed a secret finding empowering CIA to “Capture, Kill, or Interrogate Al-Queda Leaders.” It also authorized establishing a secret global network of facilities to detain and interrogate them without guidelines on proper treatment. Around the same time, Bush approved a secret “high-value target list” of about two dozen names. He also gave CIA free reign to capture, kill and interrogate terrorists not on the list. It wasthe beginning of events that followed.

How cheap is Iraqi blood!

Fatih Abdulsalam, Azzaman

iraq-blood-spigot-al-sabah2.jpg

July 18, 2008

Five years ago, international media weighed Iraqi blood drop by drop. Every drop that was shed was newsworthy and occupied their highlights.

That was with the start of the U.S. invasion of 2003.

But as the invasion which the occupiers – the U.S. and the U.K. – sold to us as ‘liberation’ turned into one of the most devastating and destructive military campaigns in man’s history, Iraqi blood started flowing in buckles, then barrels, then streams and then rivers.

It was too much for the media to accommodate. It became commonplace and in media terms no longer newsworthy despite the lakes and oceans that began forming as the streams and rivers started discharging their blood. Read the rest of this entry »

Justice Only For Darfur Victims? How About Iraq and Afghanistan!

Justice Only For Darfur Victims? How About Iraq and Afghanistan!

By Aijaz Zaka Syed

18/07/08 “Arab News” — – Few issues have exercised me as much as the conflict in Darfur has. In fact, I have the dubious distinction of being the first journalist from the Middle East to break the silence on the genocide in Sudan.

Today, as the International Criminal Court at The Hague deliberates on the fate of Sudan President Omar Bashir for “genocide and crimes against humanity,” you would think people like me would be delighted. Unfortunately, this is not the case. It’s too simplistic and dangerously naïve to assume that President Omar Bashir planned and perpetrated the atrocities against the people of Darfur.

The Sudan regime may be guilty of not doing enough to stop the mass murder, rape and persecution of the ethnic minority. Sudan’s leaders could and should have done more to alleviate the suffering in the region by working with the UN agencies and aid groups. By refusing to allow in the UN peacekeepers and relief agencies in initial years of the conflict, the authorities exacerbated the humanitarian crisis and multiplied the woes of the local population. But it would be unfair and unreasonable to accuse President Bashir of being the architect of the Darfur catastrophe.
