A list of UN Resolutions against “Israel”

Here is a list of UN resolutions that Israel has not complied. As far as I know they have ignored every single resolution. But the situation is far worse than would at first appear, it involves the serious distortion of the official Security Council record by the profligate use by the United States of its veto power. (See Table)

Israel’s, defiance goes back to its very beginnings. This collection of resolutions criticizing Israel is unmatched by the record of any other nation.

1955-1992:

  • * Resolution 106: ” . . . ‘condemns’ Israel for Gaza raid”.
  • * Resolution 111: ” . . . ‘condemns’ Israel for raid on Syria that killed fifty-six people”.
  • * Resolution 127: ” . . . ‘recommends’ Israel suspends it’s ‘no-man’s zone’ in Jerusalem”.
  • * Resolution 162: ” . . . ‘urges’ Israel to comply with UN decisions”.
  • * Resolution 171: ” . . . determines flagrant violations’ by Israel in its attack on Syria”.
  • * Resolution 228: ” . . . ‘censures’ Israel for its attack on Samu in the West Bank, then under Jordanian control”.
  • * Resolution 237: ” . . . ‘urges’ Israel to allow return of new 1967 Palestinian refugees”.
  • * Resolution 248: ” . . . ‘condemns’ Israel for its massive attack on Karameh in Jordan”.
  • * Resolution 250: ” . . . ‘calls’ on Israel to refrain from holding military parade in Jerusalem”.
  • * Resolution 251: ” . . . ‘deeply deplores’ Israeli military parade in Jerusalem in defiance of Resolution 250″.

A SHORT HISTORY OF US VETOES OF UN PEACE RESOLUTIONS

A SHORT HISTORY OF US VETOES OF UN PEACE RESOLUTIONS

The United States has vetoed 35 UN resolutions related to the middle east. (Palestine; 24, Lebanon; 8, Syria; 1, Libya; 2)

Shortly after the 1967 war, the US asserted that Israel had to comply with the Fourth Geneva Convention in the Occupied Territories, but it was only four years later, in 1971, that the US declared Israel’s actions there to be contrary to the Convention. It took another four years for the US to declare the building of settlements in the occupied territories as being illegal and an obstacle to peace. Yet, two days after declaring its position to the UN (1976), the US vetoed a resolution calling on Israel to stop changing the status of Jerusalem and put an end to settlement building on Arab land. It was only in March 1979 that the US allowed the Security Council to address the situation by abstaining on the UNSCR 446, which stated that the Fourth Geneva Convention applied to the Arab territories occupied by Israel, including Jerusalem[1].

Can there be any doubt who the real terrorists are? US definition fits perfectly

Can there be any doubt who the real terrorists are?

US definition fits perfectly

By Stuart Littlewood

28 December 2008

Stuart Littlewood calls on Western leaders to pull the plug on Israel until it conforms to international law and the will of the United Nations, pulls back behind the 1967 border and strictly observes the principles of universal human rights. Otherwise, they “risk a mighty moral backlash from ordinary people, who are beginning to learn the awful truth”.

The patience of all decent men must surely be exhausted.

Today’s [27 December] slaughter of innocents in Gaza, with at least 230 reported killed in raids on “Hamas terror operatives” (as the Israeli military put it), amounted to “a mass execution”, said Hamas.

Can there now be any doubt who the real terrorists are?

The killing spree couldn’t have happened without the tacit approval of America, Britain and the European Union. The political pea-brains that direct the pro-Israel Western alliance were partying, gorging themselves on Christmas fare or binge-shopping while this massacre of hungry women and children and their despairing menfolk in Gaza was being planned and executed.

According to the US’s own definition of terrorism Israel is squarely in the frame. Under Section 3 of Executive Order 13224 “Blocking Property and prohibiting Transactions with Persons who commit, threaten to commit, or support Terrorism”, the term “terrorism” means an activity that:

(i) involves a violent act or an act dangerous to human life, property, or infrastructure; and
(ii) appears to be intended

  • to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
  • to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
  • to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, kidnapping, or hostage-taking.

The order and its definition of terrorism, signed 23 September 2001 by George W. Bush, is used to outlaw and crush any organization, individual or country the US doesn’t like. The Israeli regime’s “amoral thugs”, as a British MP branded them, have plainly been terrorizing the Palestinians for the last 60 years.

U.N. Report: Jews are Terrorists, Not Palestinians

U.N. Report: Jews are Terrorists, Not Palestinians

Jewish settlers are terrorizing Palestinians with impunity, attacking children on their way to school and destroying farmers’ trees and crops, a U.N. expert on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict said in a report.

John Dugard, a South African lawyer, called the withdrawal of Israeli troops and settlers from the Gaza Strip last summer a positive step. But the Jewish state effectively controls Gaza through targeted killings and sonic booms from warplanes flying over the region, Dugard said in a report prepared ahead of next week’s annual meeting of the 53-member U.N. Human Rights Commission.

US veto blocks UN anti-Israel resolution

Sun, 28 Dec 2008 08:17:23 GMT

The UN Security Council has been unable to force an end to Israeli attacks against Gaza due to the intervention of the United States.

Washington once again used its veto powers on Sunday to block a resolution calling for an end to the massive ongoing Israeli attacks against the Gaza Strip.

The council has only been able to issue a ‘non-binding’ statement that calls on Israel to voluntarily bring all its military activities in the besieged region to an immediate end.

The statement comes as Israel has begun a fresh wave of air strikes on Gaza on Sunday, killing at least six people. At least 230 people were killed and 800 wounded in similar attacks on Saturday. The number of Palestinians deaths has so far risen to 271.

The council called on the parties to address the humanitarian crisis in the territory but has not criticized the Israeli air attacks.

Israel began attacks on Gaza at 11:30 Saturday, ostensibly to root out Palestinian military groups launching rockets at Israeli targets.

Two massive waves of strikes kicked off the operation, known as Operation Cast Lead, and strikes have continued throughout the night and early morning.

The death toll rises with each strike, and as more bodies are pulled out of Saturday’s rubble. A timeline of the latest is as follows:

On the Bloodiest Day in the History of Occupation, Hundreds of Palestinian Civilian Deaths and Casualties in an Israeli Aerial Offensive against the Gaza Strip

PCHR condemns in the strongest terms the war waged by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) against the Gaza Strip through a wide scale aerial offensive, which has so far targeted dozens of police headquarters and stations, public and governmental buildings and security sites throughout the Gaza Strip. PCHR calls upon the international community, particularly the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention Relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, and international organizations to immediately intervene to stop the killings being committed by IOF in the Gaza Strip, and to put an end to the current unprecedented deterioration in the human rights situation and humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Massacre: A Humanitarian Disaster (12.28.2008 updates)

The Gaza Massacre: A Humanitarian Disaster (12.28.2008 updates)

New UPDATES will be added at the bottom of  the post

22pal.jpg

After an agreement to a six-month ceasefire between between Hamas and Israel expired on December 19th, Israel launched multiple F-16 bombers into the Gaza Strip, dropping 100 tons of bombs in the first nine hours of fighting, indiscriminately massacring over 225 Palestinians and injuring over 700 others, the worst number of Palestinian casualties, and the bloodiest, since the 1967 attack in Gaza. May Allah subhaana wa ta’aala accept them all amongst the shuhadaa, aameen.

This latest violation of human rights and basic decency by the Israeli government was allegedly due to rockets fired from Gaza into the southern border of Israel, although Hamas contends Israel had been violating the conditions of the ceasefire by closing off checkpoints and murdering 28 Palestinians.

There remains, however, speculation about the motives provided by the current Israeli regime. Within a month’s time, Israel will be holding parlimentary elections and thus far, Ehud Olmert’s government has received poor marks from the Israeli public for their handling of Hamas-controlled Gaza. It is believed this disproportionately senseless attack was meant to beef up Olmert’s party’s street cred with those holding more hawkish views, pulling them away from opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu.

Why there were rockets. How to explain things to totally ignorant Americans.

Why there were rockets. How to explain things to totally ignorant Americans.

Israel is a country that builds racial colonies into Palestine, just like the White South Africa did in South Africa. They have racially segregated cites and towns in Palestine which are for Jews only and were built by force and are protected by a standing army. The entire world is against this other than America. And America’s Military Industrial Complex makes far too much money off of the conflicts to ever change its mind.

Furthermore even though “some Arabs” live in Israel, they can’t even go to High school with Jews. They are separated at the age of 14 into separate schools by race. Secondly Israel has mandatory military service and refusing to do this equates to secondary rights as citizens. You earn special rights by joining or having joined the military. Many Arab Israelis won’t join the military as they are 99% certain they will just be used to shoot at other Arabs. Thus the Jews in Israel effectively get a proxy pecking order of citizenry with the Arabs as an under class with less rights.

Why are they fighting? Because Israel maintains a military occupation, the same as America does in Iraq. The Palestinians who choose to go the route of Gorilla war do so because Israel’s army has forced 6 million of them to live in refugee camps, and uses the remainder for virtual slave labor (two dollars a week on average) and has demolished thousands of homes and killed tens of thousands of people. THAT is why Palestinians hate them, not some irrational brainwashing from Islam.

December 28,m 2008

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, has blamed Hamas for triggering Israel’s deadly raids on Gaza, by not extending a six-month truce with the Jewish state.

He also blamed Hamas, which controls the coastal Gaza Strip territory, for disrupting national unity talks that could have paved the way for general and presidential elections.

“We have warned of this grave danger,” he said in Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday.

“We talked to them [Hamas] and we told them, ‘please, we ask you, do not end the truce. Let the truce continue and not stop”, so that we could have avoided what happened.”

Egyptians open fire on fleeing Palestinians

28/12/2008 – 16:27:31

Egyptian border guards opened fire today on Palestinians who breached the border to escape Israel‘s assault on Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

An Egyptian security official said there were at least five breaches along the 9 mile border and hundreds of Palestinian residents were pouring in.

At least 300 Egyptian border guards have been rushed to the area to reseal the border, the official added on condition on anonymity because he was not authorised to speak to the press.

A resident of the Gaza Strip side of the border, Fida Kishta, said that Egyptian border guards opened fire to drive back the Palestinians. Residents have also commandeered a bulldozer to open new breaches.

Palestinians reported several people were wounded by the gunfire.

Israeli aircraft earlier bombed the border area in an apparent attempt to destroy cross border tunnels used to smuggle weapons and contraband into the Gaza Strip.

Dr Abdel Qader Higazi, a representative of the Egyptian Doctor’s Syndicate in Rafah, said Egyptian authorities closed the border crossing after allowing several trucks of medical supplies into Gaza.

FBI responds to petition to consider forensic evidence from AE911Truth

In November, 2008, Gators911Truth sent a letter to FBI Director, Robert S. Mueller, III asking the DOJ to consider the forensic evidence of controlled demolition as presented by Architect, Richard Gage – founder of AE911Truth.org. The evidence is presented in Gage’s 2008 DVD lecture titled: “911: BLUEPRINT FOR TRUTH. The Architecture of Destruction”.

The letter was sent under the provisions of TITLE18 USC § 2382, Misprision of Treason and/or 18 USC § 4 , Misprision of Felony. We received a response today from the Asst. Dir. of Counterterrorism, Michael J. Heimbach.

The November letter to Mueller is here:
http://www.gators911truth.org/PDF/911-letter-HWS-Mueller.PDF

The FBI response was very positive…

if they meant a single word of it.

You know there are people in the FBI, CIA ,NSA, NIST, etc. that know TRUTH from fiction, and it is eatin’ em’ up having to remain silent or perpetuate the fraud.

Let us hope Mr Heimbach is genuine.

India’s double standards

India’s double standards

While India blames Pakistan for inaction after Mumbai’s terror attacks, it turns a blind eye to a dangerous terror organisation

Kapil Komireddi
guardian.co.uk, Sunday 28 December 2008 13.00 GMT
Article history

“There should be no double standards in the global fight against terrorism,” the Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh declared last week. The message was intended for Pakistan, but if Dr Singh is concerned about double standards, he should look closer to home.

Earlier this month Sri Lanka‘s state-run Sunday Observer published an interview with the country’s army chief, Sarath Fonseka, who, while expressing solidarity with India after the Mumbai attacks, severely criticised some Indian politicians for supporting the LTTE. Fonseka had particularly harsh words for the powerful Tamil Nadu politicians Vaiko Gopalsamy and P Nedumaran, calling them “jokers” and accusing them of being venal mouthpieces of the LTTE. He wondered why these men would support an organisation that had assassinated an Indian prime minister, and warned that they were a threat to India’s own integrity.
