“Mommy, al Qaeda did it”

Any parent that has raised children can recall some event, like crayola’s used to write gibberish on living room walls or some prized vase, knocked over and shattered.

Since the parent and the child were the only ones home at the time, it’s a good bet the parent knows the culprit.

When confronting the little rascal, you’ll see the child’s mind going to work by the way they move their facial muscles and then blurt out that some made up, invisible friend was the one who wrote on the walls.

Coming from a child, who doesn’t know any better, it’s almost cute and laughable.

Torture of Detainees under CIA Custody: Damning Exposé of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

Stephen Lendman

April 13, 2009

On March 12, Mark Danner, in a New York Times op-ed and The New York Review of Books, wrote about the ICRC’s revelations of “US Torture: Voices from the Black Sites.” He said George Bush (in 2007) “informed the world that the United States had created a dark and secret universe to hold and interrogate captured ‘terrorists,’ ” – at locations outside America, Guantanamo and elsewhere.

Operated by the CIA, it “used an alternative set of procedures….designed to be safe, to comply with our laws, our Constitution and our treaty obligations. The Department of Justice reviewed the authorized methods extensively and determined them to be lawful.”

He lied to conceal what this writer called “Torture As Official US Policy” in a July 18, 2008 article. It was authorized at the highest government levels and confirmed by a virtual blizzard of official documents beginning with a September 17, 2001 secret finding empowering CIA to “Capture, Kill, or Interrogate Al-Queda Leaders.” It authorized establishing a secret global network of facilities to detain and interrogate them without guidelines on proper treatment.

What was the British SAS doing in Basra?

By Chris Marsden

28 September 2005

The September 19 arrest of two undercover Special Air Service officers in Basra, traveling in an unmarked car containing weapons and explosives, has led to numerous accusations that they were acting as agents provocateurs.

The BBC reported that the SAS men’s car contained “weapons, explosives and communications gear,” before claiming that these were “standard kit for British special forces.”

But in a September 27 article, one of the more serious reporters on the Middle East, Robert Fisk, wrote in the Independent, “Remember how we were told that our immense experience of ‘peace-keeping’ in Northern Ireland had allowed us to get on better with the Iraqis in the south than our American cousins further north?”

Pakistan under Zionist attack

Pakistan under Zionist attack

January 30, 2009 ·

“To a Muslim who takes Islam seriously, every political endeavour must, in the last resort, drive its sanction from religion, just as religion can never remain aloof from politics: for the simple reason that Islam, being concerned not only with our spiritual development but with the manner of our physical, social and economic existence as well, is a ‘political’ creed in the deepest, morally most compelling sense of this term. In other words, the fight for Pakistan must be made predominant in all the appeals which Muslim leaders make to the Muslim masses. If this demand is neglected, our struggle cannot possibly fulfil its historic mission…” – Form the article “What do we mean by Pakistan?” written in May 1947 by Muhammad Asad (1900-92), a Polish Jewish convert Leopold Weiss.

There two incidents in Pakistan’s early history which are rarely mentioned in the media or Pakistan history books. These incidents show world Zionist movement’s intentions toward Pakistan – the only country among 57 Muslim nation states created on Islamic faith and a nuclear power. The first incident happened during Pakistan’s first prime minister, Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan to the US in May-June, 1950. He was paid a visit by leaders of US Trade and Industry, who promised all possible military and economic assistance in case Pakistan recognized Israel. The American industrialists also underlined the importance of such a package for the new state of Pakistan. Liaquat Ali Khan in his known gentle tone replied: “Gentlemen! Our soul is not for sale.” This moral strength cost him his life. In 1951 he was assassinated, most probably through CIA/Mossad plot. The second incident happened in the 1960s during Pakistani  president FM Ayub Khan’s visit to Paris on French president Gen. Charles de Gaulle’s invitation – he was offered French nuclear assistance to Pakistan in return for giving Uranium mining rights to France on 50-50% sharing basis. The offer was later declined by Ayub Khan on the advice of his Planning Commission chief, M.M. Ahmad, for the reason that Jewish Lobby in the US would not like it (quoted in ‘Shahab Nama’).

Untold Stories about Somalia Pirates – European ships dump Nuclear Waste into Somalia Ocean

Untold Stories about Somalia Pirates – European ships dump Nuclear Waste into Somalia Ocean

In 1991, the government of Somalia – in the Horn of Africa – collapsed. Its 9 million people have been teetering on starvation ever since – and many of the ugliest forces in the Western world have seen this as a great opportunity to steal the country’s food supply and dump our nuclear waste in their seas.

Yes: nuclear waste. As soon as the government was gone, mysterious European ships started appearing off the coast of Somalia, dumping vast barrels into the ocean. The coastal population began to sicken. At first they suffered strange rashes, nausea and malformed babies. Then, after the 2005 tsunami, hundreds of the dumped and leaking barrels washed up on shore. People began to suffer from radiation sickness, and more than 300 died.

Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah, the U.N. envoy to Somalia, tells me: “Somebody is dumping nuclear material here. There is also lead and heavy metals such as cadmium and mercury – you name it.” Much of it can be traced back to European hospitals and factories, who seem to be passing it on to the Italian mafia to “dispose” of cheaply. When I asked Ould-Abdallah what European governments were doing about it, he said with a sigh: “Nothing. There has been no cleanup, no compensation and no prevention.”

At the same time, other European ships have been looting Somalia’s seas of their greatest resource: seafood. We have destroyed our own fish stocks by over-exploitation – and now we have moved on to theirs. More than $300 million worth of tuna, shrimp, lobster and other sea life is being stolen every year by vast trawlers illegally sailing into Somalia’s unprotected seas.

Somali Pirates: Fighting Against Nuclear Waste and over-fishing?

Diary Entry by J. Edward Tremlett

Yo ho ho, mateys. Don’t be so quick to make these Somali Pirates walk the plank. They might be havin’ themselves a good reason to be arrestin and detainin them ships. (If you believe allegations of nuclear waste dumping and illegal fish-trawling, that is)

::::::::

Are some, or most, of the Somali Pirates acting to protect themselves from the dumping of nuclear waste and over-fishing of their seafood?

US accused of covert operations in Somalia

Emails suggest that the CIA knew of plans by private military companies to breach UN rules

Antony Barnett and Patrick Smith

The Observer, Sunday 10 September 2006

Dramatic evidence that America is involved in illegal mercenary operations in east Africa has emerged in a string of confidential emails seen by The Observer. The leaked communications between US private military companies suggest the CIA had knowledge of the plans to run covert military operations inside Somalia – against UN rulings – and they hint at involvement of British security firms.

The emails, dated June this year, reveal how US firms have been planning undercover missions in support of President Abdullahi Yusuf’s transitional federal government – founded with UN backing in 2004 – against the Supreme Islamic Courts Council – a radical Muslim militia which took control of Mogadishu, the country’s capital, also in June promising national unity under Sharia law.

Evidence of foreign involvement in the conflict would not only breach the UN arms embargo but could destabilise the entire region.

roasting lancastersDisgraced: The soldiers have brought shame on the Lancaster Regiment

An investigation has been launched after a 15-year-old girl was smuggled on to an Army base and filmed having “roasting” sex session with up to 17 drunken soldiers.

Police are working with military authorities after speaking to the schoolgirl, it was confirmed.

The sex session was filmed at the Bourlon Barracks at the Catterick Garrison in North Yorkishire last week.

It is believed the youngster had been drinking before the incident, which involved soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment.

They had pushed campbeds together so that some of them could have sex with the girl while others watched.
