United States President Barack Obama said on Wednesday that the Palestinians should negotiate with the Israelis and not appeal to the United Nations for statehood.

“I strongly believe that for Palestinians to take the United Nations route rather than the path of sitting down and talking with the Israelis is a mistake,” Obama said in a joint press conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron in London.

Memo to President Obama: Israel does not want peace, and has demonstrated this for the 60-plus years of its existence.

Israel wants territory, and by any means necessary. This is why, if you have been looking, you will see the brisk Israeli annexation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, coupled with forced expulsions of Palestinians from the homes in which they have lived for generations.

HAMAS agrees to a cease fire and keeps it for 6 months until November 4, when Israel again attacks, killing 6 HAMAS members, launching operation CAST LEAD. 1300 Gazans, mostly civilians, are killed. Israel loses 13 soldiers. Violations of international law include the use of White Phosphorus incendiary bombs against civilians and non-military targets. The United Nations investigates, but Israel refuses to cooperate. In May 2010, Israel attacks an international aid flotilla bring food and medical supplies to Gaza in international waters. 9 people are murdered including an American from New York. Add to it the numerous assassinations such as last year’s embarrassment in Dubai, and you get the picture, even without the overtly racist and apartheid statements coming from Israel’s rabbis.

The peace process is going nowhere. That’s the practical take-away from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to a joint session of Congress this morning.

Of course, he didn’t frame it that way. But between a series of preconditions he placed on a return to negotiations and a public insistence that an indefinite Israeli occupation of the Jordan Valley is nonnegotiable, that’s the message that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas would have received. An Abbas aide said the speech amounted to a “declaration of war.”

Israel doesn’t want peace; it wants territory, and by any means necessary.

If Palestine does declare its independence at the UN this fall, it is eminently probable that Israel will simply invade the West Bank and East Jerusalem, declare it all part of Israel, and kill as many Palestinians as it thinks it can get away with in the process.

It seems the Globalist want to start a fight or declare war on the people. These people are not in their rights minds. Despotism is a mental illness in my book because they can not seem to mind their own business.They are power freaks and control addicts. (ATS)   Iraq War Deaths Exceed Vietnam War Numbers. Department of Veterans Affairs Reports 73 Thousand U.S. Gulf War Deaths.

More Gulf War Veterans have died than Vietnam Veterans.  This probably is news to you.  But the truth has been hidden by a technicality.  So here is the truth.

The casualties in the Vietnam War were pretty simple to understand.  If a soldier was dead from his combat tour, he was a war casualty.  There are 58,195 names recorded on the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, DC.

But something odd has happened with the Iraq War.  The government, under the Bush administration, did something dishonest that resulted in a lie that’s persisted since the war began — and continues to this very day.  They decided to report the war deaths in Iraq only if the soldier died with his boots on the ground in a combat situation.

The actual figures have been hidden from the American public just like the returning, flag draped coffins were censored from the press.  But the figures are now available and we can only hope that the American people will be outraged when they learn how they have been misled.
