Myth America

By Cindy Sheehan

“There’s class warfare, all right, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.” Billionaire Robber, Warren Buffet.

“I call you my base: the Haves and the Have Mores” George W. Bush

March 21, 2009 “Information Clearing House” — -Since this country was founded, it has been governed, or controlled by the Robber Class. Some people call our “Lords,” the Ruling Class, the Oligarchy, the Kleptocracy, or Plutocracy. Some call our system Cronyism, a Democratic Tyranny, Soft-core Fascist State, or if you are a member of the Robber Class or Blinded Robbed Class, you call it a Democracy, or Republic.

Let me define the terms Robber Class and Robbed Class for the purposes of this Internet Booklet: The Robber Class consists of The Wealthy Ones (not all wealthy people are robbers!) of our society who have earned this wealth off the hard labor of others: not by doing an honest days work or being fair and just with their talents or employees, but by stealing the fruits of our labor through outright theft or economic or violent exploitation.

Filmmaker Urges International Tribunal to Probe 9/11

Italian film-maker Giulietto Chiesa, who was in Berlin for a screening of his documentary which questions the official US version of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, has called for an international tribunal to probe events.

23.03.2009

Chiesa was in Berlin at the weekend for a screening of his film which features, among others, novelist Gore Vidal and playwright Dario Fo as well as retired American professor of philosophy David Ray Griffin who advances conspiracy theories that contradict mainstream accounts of events of 11 September, 2001.

Federal Aviation Administration controllers, US Air Force pilots, military commanders and physicists also appear in the critical documentary, which the director hopes will create “political awareness” of the “faulty” official investigation into the events by the 9/11 Commission.

“Some of the individuals appearing in the film are former FBI and CIA agents, people who have in a sense taken a very big risk in speaking out. I am very grateful to them because they have done a big job,” said Chiesa.

FBI planting spies in U.S. mosques, Muslim groups say

By Eliott C. McLaughlin

updated 9:45 a.m. EDT, Fri March 20, 2009

(CNN) — Ten U.S. Muslim organizations threatened this week to cease working with the FBI, citing “McCarthy-era tactics” by the agency, including efforts to covertly infiltrate California mosques.

Stephen Tidwell, then of the FBI's Los Angeles office, speaks at the Islamic Center of Irvine in 2006.
Stephen Tidwell, then of the FBI’s Los Angeles office, speaks at the Islamic Center of Irvine in 2006.

The groups claim the FBI has sent undercover agents posing as worshippers into mosques, pressured Muslims to become informants, labeled civil rights advocates as criminals and spread misinformation.

The FBI declined to comment on specific allegations but called the proposed move unproductive.

“Limiting honest dialogue, especially when complex issues are on the table, is generally not an effective advocacy strategy,” spokesman John Miller said in a statement. “The FBI has continued our outreach efforts, across the board, with a number of concerned groups and where we agree — or disagree — most have concluded the best results are achieved through continued conversation. We believe that, too.”

Gross brutality during British “terrorism” raid

guardian.co.uk, Monday 16 March 2009 17.04 GMT

A British Muslim man accused of raising funds for terrorism was punched, kicked and strangled during his arrest by specialist officers from the Metropolitan police, the high court in London heard today.

The court was told that Babar Ahmad, who is suing the police, was dragged from his bed and rammed against a window before being repeatedly beaten by officers dressed in riot gear during his arrest in December 2003.

During what his counsel Phillippa Kaufmann described as a “prolonged and violent series of gratuitous assaults” the 34-year-old IT support analyst claims officers forced him into the Muslim prayer position before shouting “Where is your God now? … Pray to him.”

Kaufmann said: “The acts of the officers were ones of gross brutality, intended to humiliate and debase the claimant and to make him fear for his life. The officers engaged over a prolonged period in extreme, sadistic and dangerous acts of violence against an individual who was completely restrained and vulnerable.

“This was an extremely serious abuse of power which is in no sense justified, nor was it excusable on the grounds that it was perpetrated in the heat of an arrest for terrorism.”

The long and sadistic history behind the CIA’s torture techniques

In the 20th century, there were two main traditions of clean torture – the kind that doesn’t leave marks, as modern torturers prefer. The first is French modern, a combination of water- and electro-torture. The second is Anglo-Saxon modern, a classic list of sleep deprivation, positional and restraint tortures, extremes of temperature, noise, and beatings.

All the techniques in the accounts of torture by the International Committee of the Red Cross, as reported Monday, collected from 14 detainees held in CIA custody, fit a long historical pattern of Anglo-Saxon modern. The ICRC report apparently includes details of CIA practices unknown until now, details that point to practices with names, histories, and political influences. In torture, hell is always in the details.

A Forgotten Humanitarian Disaster

By Lieven De Cauter

March 20, 2009 “BRussells Tribunal ” — The sixth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq is a sad occasion for the balance sheet: during six years of occupation 1.2 million citizens were killed, 2,000 doctors killed, and 5,500 academics and intellectuals assassinated or imprisoned. There are 4.7 million refugees: 2.7 million inside the country and two million have fled to neighbouring countries, among which are 20,000 medical doctors. According to the Red Cross, Iraq is now a country of widows and orphans: two million widows as a consequence of war, embargo, war again and occupation, and five million orphans, many of whom are homeless (estimated at 500,000). Almost a third of Iraq’s children suffer from malnutrition. Some 70 per cent of Iraqi girls no longer go to school. Medical services, not so long ago the best in the region, have totally collapsed: 75 per cent of medical staff have left their jobs, half of them have fled the country, and after six years of “reconstruction” health services in Iraq still do not meet minimum standards.

Afghanistan and Iraq: War Crimes Against Children ascribed to former President Bush

Torture has received the most attention among the many war crimes of the Bush administration. But those who support Bush’s pursuit of the “war on terror” have not been impressed by recriminations over torture. Worse than torture are the murders of at least 50 prisoners in Abu Ghraib, Afghanistan, and Guantánamo, but again the hard-hearted are unimpressed when those whom they perceive as terrorists receive illegal extrajudicial capital punishment.

Canada ban: Galloway faces his accusers a Jewish Defence League (JDL) “Terrorist”

The decision to ban George Galloway from Canada seems odd, but now it emerges that the Jewish Defence League (JDL) pressured the Canadian Government to so the action takes on sinister connotations for Canada, why? Because the Jewish Defence League are according to the FBI a Terrorist Group. In its report, Terrorism 2000/2001, the FBI referred to the JDL as a “violent extremist Jewish organization”. This “violent extremist Jewish organization” now it seems has power and influence over the Canadian Government”

ISRAELI SOLDIERS: “WE CAME, WE SAW, WE KILLED”

When we read reports about the

nazi atrocities in Eastern Europe during the last

World War, we very often hear the excuse from the soldiers involved that “We were only following orders”…..

This is not necessarily the case with

the atrocities carried out during the recent Israeli blitzkrieg in the Gaza Strip. If you read the following three reports regarding this matter you will see what I mean.

Totally UNFORGIVABLE, Totally UNFORGETTABLE!

NEVER AGAIN!

The office at the Adiv fabric-printing shop in south Tel Aviv handles a constant stream of customers, many of them soldiers in uniform, who come to order custom clothing featuring their unit’s insignia, usually accompanied by a slogan and drawing of their choosing. Elsewhere on the premises, the sketches are turned into plates used for imprinting the ordered items, mainly T-shirts and baseball caps, but also hoodies, fleece jackets and pants. A young Arab man from Jaffa supervises the workers who imprint the words and pictures, and afterward hands over the finished product.

Through the Western media, through the propaganda machines run by AIPAC and the ADL, many are lead to believe that the world’s problems are the fault of Islam. The continual dehuminisation of Islam perpetuates these lies.
If you take the time to read the following, you will see where the real problem stems from and who the real terrorists are…..

Israelis told to fight ‘holy war’ in Gaza

By Donald Macintyre in Jerusalem

Many Israeli troops had the sense of fighting a “religious war” against Gentiles during the 22-day offensive in Gaza, according to a soldier who has highlighted the martial role of military rabbis during the operation.

The soldier testified that the “clear” message of literature distributed to troops by the rabbinate was: “We are the Jewish people, we came to this land by a miracle, God brought us back to this land and now we need to fight to expel the Gentiles who are interfering with our conquest of this holy land.”

Gaza war crime claims gather pace as more troops speak out

Fresh allegations have come to light that gung-ho leadership inculcated a culture of disregard for Palestinian casualties

An investigation by a group of former Israeli soldiers has uncovered new evidence of the military’s conduct during the assault on Gaza two months ago. According to the group Breaking the Silence, the witness statements of the 15 soldiers who have come forward to describe their concerns over Operation Cast Lead appear to corroborate claims of random killings and vandalism carried out during the operation made by a separate group of anonymous servicemen during a seminar at a military college.

Although Breaking the Silence’s report is not due to be published for several months, the testimony it has received already suggests widespread abuses stemming from orders originating with the Israeli military chain of command.

IDF ceased long ago being ‘most moral army in the world’ By Gideon Levy

IDF ceased long ago being ‘most moral army in the world’

By Gideon Levy

Last update – 08:21 22/03/2009

What shock, what consternation. Haaretz revealed grave accounts by officers and soldiers describing the killing of innocent Palestinian civilians during the war in Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces Spokesman was quick to respond that the IDF had no prior or supporting information about the events in question, the defense minister was quick to respond that “the IDF is the most moral army in the world,” and the military advocate general said the IDF would investigate.

All these propagandistic and ridiculous responses are meant not only to deceive the public, but also to offer shameless lies. The IDF knew very well what its soldiers did in Gaza. It has long ceased to be the most moral army in the world. Far from it – it will not seriously investigate anything.

Israel arrests Hamas negotiators

Big News Network.com     Thursday 19th March, 2009

Arrests have been made in the West Bank following the collapse of indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas this week

Israeli soldiers arrested senior members of Hamas, after they had failed to reach agreement on an Egyptian brokered prisoner swap.

Among those arrested are four Hamas members of the Palestinian Legislative Council and a university professor, all of whom belong to the administrative branch of Hamas.

Hamas officials have said Israel is punishing the group for the broken down talks, which Israel had hoped would lead to the release of Gilad Shalit, a soldier seized by Palestinian militants in 2006.
